I had some JBL EON 610s that got destroyed from a rainout gig that I replaced with these. First off, if you're not savvy, that "2500 watts" is just marketing, don't buy just based on peak power ratings. These will get plenty loud, but you'll hit the limiter earlier than you expect. That said, I'm using these as floor wedges and they're getting pushed into the limiters pretty regularly (according to the logo light if you leave it on "limit") but they sound crystal clear and you cannot audibly notice it hitting any limiting. They don't seem as "loud" as the eons were, but they're so much clearer that you don't need them to be as loud in my opinion. All in all, a great choice for floor wedges or small mains for smaller venues.

I use these for delay speakers and when I only have an analog mixer on hand, they are great as you can set the delays in the speakers individually. These pack a punch at 2500W and for the price, they cannot be beat. I own several now because of it. Love my turbosounds

Purchased one of these to use at a small church venue and it literally filled the room. Very easy to setup it's small but packs a lot of punch. Highly recommend.

So I have owned EV/ Peavey/ Bose/ Yamaha/ Harbringer and the list goes on..... I like trying new gear out and I have always wanted Turbosound..... This is a great looking cab to start off with. I like the Powercon on this speaker however it is not the typical power cord and I had bought XLR cords with the power cords built it so that's the negative to this speaker if there is one. The sound is top notch... I can't complain one bit about how it sounds. The DSP on the back of the speaker is great. I am now waiting on my new digital mixer along with the Ethernet ables to hook this thing up and really give it a run for its money. Although I did not purchase this from Sweetwater I have recently switched all of my accounts to just them and I really like working with them. I bought the Turbosound cases to go over these speakers and they at TIGHT..... not a huge fan of the covers at all b/c they don't cover the bottom of the speaker but that's another subject. I think these speakers would do anything that you throw at them and I am pairing them with the iq15B.... Once I get it I may add to this review. I don't think you would be disappointed with these but they do come in 12 and 15 inch as well if you want more bang or thump!

Bought these 4 months ago to add to my system. Wanted to try some 10's for crispness. after about running 8 shows with them at the volume 55% and NOTHING peaking on my board, my singer stepped out front and a mid range feedback took BOTH 10 speakers out. I did not want to go through the hassle of sending them back and having them repaired with the same junk woofers so I bought a pair of Eminence speakers to throw in them. Save your money and by some EV's. My ELX series have been through 100's of shows with no problems.

Just received a pair of these for a small church. Right out of the box I was very impressed. With everything set flat they are a little muddy in the low - low mid area between 100-250hz but that's cleaned up quickly with a little EQ. Midrange and top end are very nice and clean. Built in feedback destroyer is nice to have although a little slow to respond and not the best that I've ever used but I didn't expect it to be for this price point. Shelving EQ works well. I've not had enough time with them (about 45 minutes) to really make an assessment of the parametric EQ. As for power - PLENTY! Great value and I would definitely buy again.

We flew a few of these cabs in our new house of worship facility and have been impressed! We wanted a high-powered speaker that actually sounded good and these did not disappoint. Don't let heir diminutive size fool you... These things go to "11" and still sound great! Their sound is very clean with very flat frequency response right out of the box. The onboard DSP is pretty nice, although for my application I am doing all my processing before the unit. I have used all the usual suspects in this category but non compare to the power and sound you can achieve with these. If you're in the market for a small powered speaker look no further, these are as good as it gets!

I'd been looking for quite some time for a nice set of powered speakers and going back and forth between brands and models. As I had some small Oktoberfest work coming up this season, I decided to give these a shot figuring I could then use them as monitors down the road when and if I need something bigger.

I've been blown away with these. Light yet solidly built. They are definitely road worthy. Frequency range and power is equal to that of some 12s I was looking at. So the smaller package makes these that much more valuable to me. The DSP is easy to use and intuitive.

Sound quality is phenomenal at this price point. I recently compared mine to a K10 and actually liked the sound of these (after some slight adjustments in the DSP) better.

I highly recommend these. They make great mains for smaller settings and are perfect for floor monitors.
