Audix f9 Small-diaphragm Condenser Microphone Reviews
Need affordable, great-sounding drum overheads? The Audix f9 gives you clear, accurate response onstage and in the studio, and it's so versatile, it's like having several mics in one! As with most small-diaphragm condensers, acoustic sources are the f9's mic's forte, so go ahead and use it on cymbals, (including hi-hat), acoustic guitar, cello, piano - anywhere full frequency range and fast transient response are required. You can mic a chamber quartet with just a pair of f9s - or at your next live show, mic the room for tasty audience ambience. With the Audix f9, the possibilities are endless.

Pretty Decent
For the price I was impressed. I use it for snare under and ride mics, so nothing very critical. Might try it on acoustic guitars and see what happens. Quality build, good price for the right application. Definitely worth it.
Nice tight sound
It's not a very forgiving mic, but when you find the sweet spot it sounds fantastic. I'm using it to record acoustic guitar and it sounds fantastic. Aim it slightly above the sound hole and slightly towards the neck.
accordion mic
Limited use so far but it does have a nice clear sound when used for recording. I am going to use it for live performance on my accordion
Fantastic little mic
I bought this as an ambient room mic for use with my band's in-ear monitors. It picks up a ton of sound and adds the live feel of the room. Love it!
