Great!

Anyone that's recording through virtual amp sims is gonna need something like this, you need to run it through your clean signal of your guitar track before you run it through distortion.

Waves Z noise plug in

By Patrick from Las Vegas, NV on February 11, 2016

Very helpful tool when you need your noise floor as low as you can get it at home. Be careful though, you must set this plug in up correctly to utilize its functions. I would suggest viewing some short videos about it, found on youtube.
Once you master how it works it becomes very easy to use.

Z-Noise gets the job done

By DennisNv from Lake Tahoe area on June 6, 2015 Music Background: Musician and composer, mostly guitar and keyboards

This plug-in is handy to have for a variety of tasks that can literally save a project. It surely defies the conventional wisdom that the only way to fix a bad recording is record it again properly. The adaptive wave form technology is very slick and has worked well on every problem I've needed it for. If you have a mixed track that you need to clean up this plug-in can do some of that too. I was able to simply and effectively quell an accordion that was drowning out an acoustic guitar and piano in an audio track for a consumer grade video camera recording. While it doesn't always perform at the "miracle" level, it has drastically improved every one of the recordings I've used it on. I haven't tried any of it's rivals, such as the Izotope Rx, so I can't draw a comparison but I can assure prospective buyers that this one works very well. So if your are looking for a plug-in that will assist you in removing unwanted noise and sounds from a recording this one will go a long way to fulfilling that need.

Good Noise Reduction

First let me say. The best fix for a bad take is a new take. That said, this does a nice job at cleaning up some of the muck that can happen.

Is it an end all be all. No noise reduction program should be. Is it a useful tool, DEFINITELY.

Waves=Quality Never had a bad plug from them. Don't debate, buy it if you need one!

Not bad -- but not great.

Great for minimal clean up but not extreme fidelity

Does a fair job of cleaning un wanted noise. I love the function listen the what your cutting out in real time. But it is easy to get artifacts that are not wanted.
