Fantastic cymbal!

I first noticed this cymbal on Joey Kramer's set up. The mega bell is awesome and the overall sound is badass.I'm glad Zildjian brought the Z series. Just ordered 15" Z high hats.

Music Background: Drummer- Sever The Wicked

This ride cuts through without being obnoxiously metallic.
It just has a good "frequency" is my best way of putting it.
The giys in my band love it as much as I do.
I'm a big fan of every part of this cymbal.
The bell is all you want ot to be and the zones you would expect all deliver exactly what you want.

I've tried this cymbal with different sized sticks as well as sticks with nylon and wood tips.
Its just incredible.

IMO, this ride is ideal for Rock/Metal (which is why I bought it), but, I absolutely could see it in Prog, Punk, Funk, Alternative, Newer rock based Cou ntry, Classic Rock (maybe- vintage is more ideal), Sluge metal,Doom Metal, acoustic if you use the right sticks (dowel or brushes) and, Contemporary.

This cymbal has the potential for a wide range of applications.
