Disappointed with instructions...

So, the parts are fine. Works good. Sounds good... IF YOU CAN GET IT WIRED. I received the wiring instructions in the box. Tried it that way. WRONG! Went to the Mojotone website, downloaded the instructions there, which were different, and also WRONG! Did a Google search of problems with this harness and found, yet, another set of "Mojotone" instructions for this device. Screenshot it, and tried... WORKED!

This, with the correct instructions would have take all of 5 minutes to install. Literally. However, I got to waste 2 hours of my night, after work, troubleshooting THEIR in box instructions. I am posting a picture of each way to wire it. One of them should work for you, and save you a lot of time. If you try all three, you should only be out about 15 minutes.

That is why I dinged this product one star. Otherwise, it worked pretty well. I need to file the slot for the selector a tad on each end, as this one like most 4-way Tele switches won't go all the way on one end or the other. I figure a millimeter or less on both ends will solve the issue, and this is a common remedy that I see online. I did, however, get mine to switch correctly by loosening the screws and trying to center it up a bit. I still think that opening the slot will be a more stable fix.

It sounds like a Tele, it goes into series. It does what it is supposed to do. No complaint there. Just VERY disappointed that the instructions were a HUGE waste of time.
