I bought this system because I had initially purchased a portable speaker by the same brand during Covid for live Facebook sessions. The quality of that speaker was great, it lasted me five years and I had bought these with the same quality expectations and have ran into nothing but problems. I went through three of these units. The first ones fan kept knocking, the second one, the cables were so low quality that I believe they burned out one of the speakers. Onto the third the Bluetooth connectivity was extremely awful. I had to literally leave my phone on top of the mixer, if I were to take my phone off and even move up to a foot away, it would start to glitch, which was super inconvenient because I would use it for my lyrics, I tried many times to hook other devices like my laptop up and it would not connect. I am moving onto electro voice speakers and I'm really excited for a better quality product. I would highly recommend that Samson, completely revamp this entire system or Kabash it altogether because it is very much trash.

Easy to set up. Sound is great. Bluetooth a little finicky but it works. If recommend it for a small setup or back yard session.

I love it very much xp1000 is the best..ive been havin it for years inlost track. I will never sell it and i hooked it up with the jbl subwoofer but I love to upgrade my subwoofer...got the standers too. Off the hook loud,bass,and you can control everything with the system god bless.

The only reason I'm not giving these a 5-star is because the mixer does not have a balance option. I run a trivia show where the speakers are placed in two separate sections of a restaurant, and the patrons in the smaller area constantly complainin it's too loud in that area, but I need the volume in the other area. Without a balancing option, I'm limited as to how I can control this.

Other than that, this is a great setup and easy to use, and I'm impressed with how good the sound quality is considering they are only 10 inch.

Cheap PA means cheap parts, so I guess that I got what I paid for. In just over a year of having this system, both speaker output jacks have had to be replaced and the quarter-inch input on channel 2 is completely dead.

I needed a more powerful PA for a rehearsal space and this unit fit the bill very well, at a cost of less than I was expecting to pay (based on comparisons at other vendors).

perfect for a small practice space with a band on the louder side. I do drive this thing all the way up to keep up with a hard hitting drummer. if I could go back i'd go for something 2000 watts but this does the trick and has perfect clean tone.

I was looking for a new sound system for my classroom but also something portable to take with us when my choir gets asked to sing for various events. I came across this system and it seemed to have everything I was looking for, portability, Bluetooth connectivity, enough inputs for my needs and plenty of power. When the system finally arrived all I can say is WOW! It sounds great, the Bluetooth connects like a dream with no issues and it is LOUD! I discovered that the monitor out can also be used to run a powered sub, which I had already in my classroom, so that was a nice little surprise. The effects are not bad either but, admittedly, I don't use them much. If you want a great sounding portable P.A. that will put out plenty of sound, you can't go wrong with the Samson XP1000. Also, I have to thank my sales rep, Khaleed Matmati, for helping me out with this order. I had to establish an account for my school so that we could order this on a school purchase order and Khaleed walked me through the process and helped get the paperwork done on their end quickly. Great customer service experience from Sweetwater as always.

This unit is engineered pretty well. After purchasing several other from other places, this one ranks #1, in terms of its quiet, and sounds presentable. The fan has some noise, but that is normal. The cables to connect speakers are not the best, I would buy 2-1/4 phono cables (EG-20 Pro Co)inexpensive cables that are not bad, the ones that come with it are cheesy and will not last. The sound is clear and it does the job. It is being used for assemblies at a school in a cafeteria that houses about 300-400 people and for po Speakers will be about 20 feet from guest on both sides. Used for educational guest speaking during power points and for movie nights, sending audio from laptop and mobile devices as well as separate component audio devices.I wanted something decent without breaking the bank and I don't want to have to worry about ignorant people using it and damaging it. This is easy to use, with manual knobs and directions with pictures so even a fool could set it up.Samson is a good manufacturer, I have used many of their products and they usually last a long time and have no problems on arrival

I was very happy to find that this small unit can provide sound for my 50 to 100 people indoor engagements. A lot of Sound in a small compact easy to carry package. Well worth the money. Can alsp be used to run larger nom powered speakers and the speakers with this package mage great monitors in a larger setting.

Really good for the price, foot-print and the overall size.. Sounds great! Used for a gathering of 200 people (Karaoke)...Paired with another Yamaha 8-channel mixer and Sennheisser e835S mics and the Samson Stage XPD1 (wireless) mic. The XPD 1 works so well even at 100 feet. Worth every penny of it.
