I rarely write reviews just doesn't take the time but will do for X-Noise
I just bought Plini Archetype plugin from Neural Dsp. They make quite nice amp simulations but you often get Some Hiss on the high Frenquencies because they try to simulate as much as possible those amp sounds and those amps are High gain.
This Software is perfect to get a nice Clean Distortion for your rythmic parts and to remove some of the high end Hiss.
It will witouth no doubt get some gain off probly why it get some 3 stars out of 5 but nothing can magically remove those witouth any cost but it will soften the distortion instead of cutting it right through and youl get a much cleaner sound.
Anyway for $… it is a great plug and play plugin simple as a noise gate but acting on a precise frequency of your choice and you can play with it while monitoring.

A simple plugin that does its job as it says it does
Latency Warning - unusable in some setups
I bought it to try and reduce electric guitar hum at the input of my digital effects chain. But it added an unacceptable amount of latency, so the sound in the monitor was delayed and confusing. I'd guess it's 100-200 ms.
That said, it does work, so maybe I'll find a different use for it.

I bought the plug in and received the activation email, first off, it is insanely stupid to make signing up to waves.com and mandatory thing, I shouldn't have to sign up for nothing when I PURCHASE YOUR PRODUCT, second off, THE SIGN UP DOESN'T WORK, everytime I type in an email to use for the sign up it says it's already been used, BUT then I go to sign in and use it AND IT SAYS "THIS EMAIL ISN'T IN OUR DATABASE", I could type in ANY email and it simply WON'T WORK, also the tech support doesn't work !!!!

I've used X-Noise for a year now and I've barely had use for it?
why? because every time I wanna take noise out of my vocals, it just ruins the audio recording, that's garbage.
I press "Listen", It Listens, I try reducing the hiss and noise by changing the threshold & reduction,
not only did it not fix my problem, it made the audio sound muffled and bad, also this plug in does not work good with Fl Studio 11 or 12, the flagship DAW that mostly anyone could get into and use, why?
first off, you cannot hit play or stop on your keyboard while this plug in is open, which means you have to loop your audio just to get multiple listens to hear changes, Second off, I had hard time installing this thing into fl's plug in files, NOT ONLY DOES IT NOT COME IN IT'S OWN .DLL SHELL WINDOW, BUT YOU NEED ANOTHER PLUGIN (WAVESHELL) JUST TO OPEN IT !!! It took me forever to figure this out and It constantly bugs me when I can't JUST open X-Noise, no no no, I gotta open WAVESHELL and select "X NOISE MONO or X NOISE STEREO", like what the hell? this is absurd and like I said, it ruins vocal quality...
Either I'm not doing something right in the plug in or this plug in truly is trash.
