Great upgrade from entry level cables that are not ridiculously overpriced. The barrels are higher quality and snap better, cable sleeve is great to have and wire itself is slightly heavier and seems stronger. Excellent value.

I've had several of these for years and years. One recently quit working and Sweetwater was kind enough to honor the lifetime guarantee and replace it at no cost. Doesn't seem like a big deal but with so much hassle these days with guarantees, insurance and warranties, it was refreshing to contact Sweetwater and get immediate customer service.

These cables are good. High quality connectors and cables have a nice feeling sleeving as well. I swap out other cables at church as they go bad for these cables.

These cables work perfect

The cords worked great and I like the cable tie packaging. I'm running sound for bands in pubs and outdoor festivals; I can't hear a difference between these and my other premium cables at the gig. Why pay more?

I ordered my first of these cables about ten years ago and have gigged consistently year after year with countless drunks offering to help at the end of the night help wrap cables and I've never had a failure. I keep buying them and they keep working.

Did I really pay... for two of these? They are actually thinner and flimsier than the $10 cables I own. The blue part in the picture--I assume for support--is two feet away. They don't slide up, and I'm afraid of damaging the tiny cable by trying harder(!). I bought two Rolands for the same price last time, whose quality, thickness and neck support are worlds superior. I bought these based on the reviews, which I'm now clear are being completely manipulated. In fact check the first five--they're terrible. But somehow the next 70 are awesome! Never again.

Hard as a rock!

A simple thing like a bad cable can take a lot away from a concert. I have been using Pro Co EXM microphone cables (both 25 and 50 ft) for about 5 years now providing concert sound services. I have had zero problems with them. They work and keep on working. I have to say, Thank You to my Sales Engineer Mike Conyers, for his assistance. He and Sweetwater do a great job.

I bought a pair of these cables in a bundle and I am so glad I did. Cables are not something to be stingy about, people. I'm not saying Mogami Gold or bust – I'm saying if it's between these and Hosa, get these. Get two of these instead of four Hosas, and get two more when you can afford it. They'll last much longer, they've got cool Sweetwater shrink tubing, and they've got that hard-to-find balance of looseness and rigidity that makes them easy to coil without knotting up.

I have always used these. I bought the 10' and the 20' lines. They have never failed me. Sometimes they come loose and I have to screw them back in... small price to pay for such a great sound. They are a great product and I love the fact they come in all lengths. I recommend these.

It's not fancy but fairly priced and built nice! I received this cable as part of a package deal from Sweetwater. I didn't really need the cable but you can never have too many cables. Pro Co makes some pretty nice cables and would be my second choice to Mogami.

If you don't have the money to spend on Mogami cables go with Pro Co. They are one of the best brands at Sweetwater.

This is the second cable I bought for the SM85 I purchased. It is a great product for a small person group for lead and backup vocals. Sweetwater service is great. Sales engineer Rob Kramer is very helpful.

This cable is ok. It's a good cable but the hard plastic parts and the end to protect the cable break are not all the way down. So pretty much it defeats the purpose. Besides that it sounds and works great.

Good solid cable seems to work nicely and doesn't cut out when moving around.

Bought dozens of these cables in 2012 for use in a mobile church setting (setting up and putting away a sound system every week)- they have been rock solid, very durable. They've been plugged in and unplugged, rolled and unrolled, stepped on, etc. each week for years and they still work great 4 years later! Best cable I've ever seen. We may have sent one back for replacement (which Sweetwater/ProCo quickly took care of), but that's about all. The Neutrik connectors (especially on the female end) are a big reason these cables are so solid- they continue to hold their tension when plugged into a microphone year in and year out (so you don't get shorts/popping sounds or slipping that sometimes develops over time with other cables). This is THE cable I advise everyone to purchase (especially because of the Neutrik connectors and lifetime warranty). If you buy cheap-o microphone cables you'll replace them regularly. OR invest in these cables and enjoy them for years to come.

So far doing exactly what it's supposed to do with no complaints. Time will tell.

These are the best cables I've ever used. They offer a clean sound, a resistance to tangle, and great flexibility. The lifetime warranty doesn't hurt, either.

I've owned these cables for over a decade and only had an issue with one XLR. I contacted Sweetwater and they said "we're sending you another one now." I own more expensive cables and frankly don't hear any difference between the ProCo's.

These microphone cables were purchased to go with new microphones. They eliminated some feedback problems we had in our sound system. When purchasing new microphones do not forget new cable. Money well spent.

This is a nice mic cable for the money. My only concern would be the 20' length. There may be certain situations where a longer cable might be necessary, but in my case, in almost all situations, 20' is plenty

This cable came with a loudbox bundle along with a mic and stand which was all at an incredible price and the 20' length of the cable in perfect for any stage or gig setup or just playing around your house, apartment, or on the street somewhere if you want to go that route!

Ordered two cables and two mics. We got a strongly attenuated signal on one channel, and we isolated it to one of the cables. I took the connectors apart and found a cold solder joint. I re-soldered it myself, so now it's fine.

I bought five of these cords for my band and recording. The cords must be wired poorly, because I had grounding issues with handheld and tripod mounted mics (high-pitched squeal went away by touching the mics or preamp). Thought the problem was with poor grounding of preamps, but replacing the cords with others I had earlier (full-fledged Pro-Co) made the high-pitched whine problem go away and the mics have more gain.

This is a free cable bundled in an amp package. Its a sweetwater brand and the quality is superb!

Needed to utilize our new sound system for church puppet team which travels. Fits our needs well.

I have used Pro Co cables for many years, because they are well made and reasonably priced.
While these cables come with good connectors, the cable itself is much smaller and seems kind of cheap compared to my older Pro Co mic cables, which leads me to wonder about their reliability.
I am pretty easy on my equipment, but when using mic cables in a live environment, they are going to be pulled and stepped on and suffer other kinds of strain.
While i'm sure these cables are fine for general use, they are a bit over-priced for what they are, even if they do hold up over time.

Initially concerned at the small diameter of the cable compared to the size of the connector. Disasembled the connector to check the strain relieve and all looks good. There is an internal strain relief securing the cable. I bought this for my home studio, not for gigging so I believe it will work fine. Has a Lifetime Warranty as well.
