Excellent shielding and durability!

By Kaye on December 4, 2021 Music Background: voice actor

This mic cable sounds super smooth, my old cables used to pick up pretty bad electrostatic interference from my PC, but so far these are ultra durable, sound clean, and come with a lifetime warranty. 10/10 would recommend.

Hard as a rock!

They just work and keep on working

By Don Gilkinson from New York on November 4, 2018 Music Background: Guitar, Vocals, Studio and Live Sound

A simple thing like a bad cable can take a lot away from a concert. I have been using Pro Co EXM microphone cables (both 25 and 50 ft) for about 5 years now providing concert sound services. I have had zero problems with them. They work and keep on working. I have to say, Thank You to my Sales Engineer Mike Conyers, for his assistance. He and Sweetwater do a great job.

Pro Co EXM

By CWilliams from Alton, VA on May 6, 2017 Music Background: Love Bluegrass, play at the guitar, mandolin and dobro.

Great cable for the price. The ends fit my equipment securely and the cable is flexible and the outer jacket seem thick enough to withstand the abuses of the stage, set-up, tear down and the road.

Great cable

By Matthew Wright from Texas on December 24, 2016

This is a well-built cable, and does exactly what I need it to do. I would buy more of these in the future.

No skimping on materials here. When these cables arrived they exceeded my expectations in terms of build quality; they could handle some tough use. I fully expect lifetime function out of them.

Nice cable

By George D. Hoffman from NY on December 19, 2017

Needed a cable to connect my mic to the PA system. The one thing that most inexpensive cables have is plastic end connectors. If you have used an audio system for any length of time, you will note that pulling on the cable is inevitable and connectors seem to brake just at the wrong time! The EXM cables have metal connectors so breakage is eliminated. the connection between the cable and connector is reinforced so the possibility of fraying and breakage is highly reduced. The Pro Co EXM cables may be a bit more expensive but they are well worth it!

pro con exm 50 microphone cable

By dan ferer from florida on November 14, 2017 Music Background: lifetime musician

Great cable for the price. Work very well and cannot tell the difference between it and a cable at almost twice the price.

Pro Co EXM mic cables

By Sweetwater Customer on June 9, 2017

I got a couple of these cables with the SM57, On-Stage and cable combinations. These are good cables. Only 4.5 stars because the cable could be a bit heavier so time will tell as far as durability. However, the connectors are excellent.

ProCo Mic cables

By David J from Houston Area on January 5, 2017 Music Background: 40+ years of playing

ProCo makes some of the very best cables on the market. Their durability and price makes them the best value out there. Remember that the short cables rarely reach where they are needed, consider a longer cable purchase, than you expect to use. One thing about these XLR Female / Male cables is that they can be hooked up in "series" to extend their reach. Sweetwater will have them in stock and get them to you very quickly.

Quality

By Gregg Thompson from Nevada on August 5, 2012 Music Background: Recording Engineer

These are well built and better then you average cords. Good signal. I would Recommend these to any home studio other professional use.

Pro Co makes the best cables

By Bart Budwig from Moscow, Id on April 30, 2012 Music Background: Recording Engineer, Live Sound Engineer, Songwriter

Pro Co cables are pricey but that are the best or just as good as the more expensive brands like monster cable.

More cables = better

By Pete Lyall from Northwest of LA on October 6, 2016 Music Background: musician/engineer

They're cables. For the most part the work of they don't. These are just fine, and I expect they will last for a good long while.

Stand, Cable, Clip, Pop filter Bundle

By Emma Kernan from Princeton WV on June 3, 2015 Music Background: Christian Music (Contemporary, Gospel)

I am really pleased with all the gear I ordered, and I thank you so very much -
I have always shunned using a microphone when I play and sing, but am now finding that I'd like to do so.
I am not very familiar with the various terminology used to purchase items I need (e.g. the name of the apparatus I should plug my microphone cable into (smile) nor whether the microphone should be purchased according to or matched with the cable size. I do have your catalogs and am viewing your many items, but still don't feel comfortable selecting the correct items. Anyways I'll be ordering more items in the near future and look forward to your help on these two current matters.
Thanks, again, Emma

Great Buy!

By Charles Puett from Darlington, SC USA on September 2, 2014 Music Background: Church Music Director and Hobbyist

Don't know too much that can be said about an XLR microphone cable, but it seems to be working fine and you can't hardly beat the price. Am well pleased with my purchase.

Good cable, gratituous advertising.

By Sweetwater Customer from Seattle, WA on June 7, 2011 Music Background: System Installer

Good cables, but having Sweetwaters name heat shrunk on each end of the cable is annoying. It would have been better to have an unshrunk piece of clear heatshrink tubing so one could put one's own label on it instead.

nice mic cable.

By Sweetwater Customer on October 15, 2016

This cable seems to be a little on the light weight side. It is probably ok for listed use in a home studio application. It comes with a a lifetime warranty which is great.

Awful whine/static

By Christian from NASHVILLE, TN on January 12, 2023 Music Background: Singer/Songwriter/Producer

4 out of my 7 Pro co cables from Sweetwater have introduced this awful whine sound into my signal. And before you ask, I've tested it on multiple mics, multiple inputs, interfaces, etc. It all leads back to the pro co cables. None of my other cables do this.
I don't know if it's poor build quality or cutting corners or what, but if I can't rely on these anymore. Who cares about a lifetime warranty if even the replacements do the same thing out of the box.

Picks up Frequencies

By Donald Pitts from Englewood, CO on February 1, 2023

These will pickup radio stations and outside frequencies. If your going pro, I wouldn't recommend.
