Quality through & through

By Frank Ferraro from Fort Lauderdale on October 10, 2023 Music Background: Amatuer Guitarist

Over the years I've gone through a lot of different cables. But one brand has never failed me... Pro Co. So when we needed a mic cable for a new sound system, we chose these. Rather I should say our Sweetwater Pro, Paul Eckert, recommended it... and we agreed.

Good build quality

By Sweetwater Customer from Indiana on January 3, 2023

So far the Pro Co cable has always been a pleasing purchase. It is not a cheap quality product. The cable is supple and easy to coil.

Good sound, good feel, subtle look.

Couldn't ask for more I don't think. They get the job done at a very good price.

New Gear

By Sweetwater Customer on May 5, 2020

Purchased two k12.2 and a k8.2 with XLR cables, the people at Sweetwater are awesome as always, fast delivery and professional interaction. The gear is great, the QSC speakers are very powerful and have a great sound. No complaints at all!!! Using them outside for drive-in services. Would recommend to anyone looking for the best powered speakers. Thanks again Ryan at Sweetwater!!!

They just work and keep on working

By Don Gilkinson from New York on November 4, 2018 Music Background: Guitar, Vocals, Studio and Live Sound

A simple thing like a bad cable can take a lot away from a concert. I have been using Pro Co EXM microphone cables (both 25 and 50 ft) for about 5 years now providing concert sound services. I have had zero problems with them. They work and keep on working. I have to say, Thank You to my Sales Engineer Mike Conyers, for his assistance. He and Sweetwater do a great job.

My first time ordering from Sweetwater and was I surprised to get a follow up phone call on Sunday afternoon, no less. Amazing customer service and first quality product.

Pro Co EXM-100 cable

By James T. from Durango, CO on January 17, 2018

We needed to connect our microphones across a large expanse in an exhibition hall. The cables proved durable with very secure XLR connections. The soft, yet strong, rubberized casing made for very flexible placement and use. I highly recommend these cables for your XLR needs.

Awesome quality cables. They are just the thing for those special events where you have a long run and need a good mic line. You can't get anything better.

Great cables at a Great price

By Sweetwater Customer from Gary, Indiana on August 22, 2014 Music Background: Live engineer

These are amazing cables. I am always happy with the results when I use them. The only time I've had a failure has been human error. These (and all the other ProCo cables I've received over the years) have a pliable, but not weak, soft jacket. These cables are easy to repair as well because they come with real, solderable Neutrik connectors.

great

Great cable for the price. Work very well and cannot tell the difference between it and a cable at almost twice the price.

Road Purchase

By Tom Zink from LA California on August 9, 2013 Music Background: Pro musician, engineer, producer, arranger.

The real review is for Sweetwater service. The mic cables are great, but what really mattered is that while I was on the road I was able to get a critical piece of gear delivered to my hotel less expensively than if I had driven all over (hoping that wherever I ended up had what I needed). Great to know that you guys are always around to help get us what we need to make the music happen. Thanks

More cables = better

They're cables. For the most part the work of they don't. These are just fine, and I expect they will last for a good long while.

These cables are priced right and well constructed .

Great Cable, Sweetwater Branding

By Manny from Long Beach, CA on December 21, 2014 Music Background: Technician

Quality Cable, Quality Neutrik Components.

Minus 1 Star:
I'm ok with the Sweetwater labeled Heatshrink on the cable. My issue here is that its on both ends. When using the XLR for public events with microphones you don't want the colored heat shrink to bring attention to your cable.

Minus 1 Star
Apparently the Sweetwater heat shrink comes in assorted colors. I didn't have a choice in selecting when placing my order. I ordered a batch of 18 cables and got a diverse set of reds, blues, purples, and yellows. Partially because of my reason above and my OCD, I'll be spending some time removing the heat shrink.

Not too wound up about 'em

By mike calabrese from Jackson Hole, Wyoming on August 30, 2013 Music Background: Pro musician (30 years) and sound man.

Good price for these cables. However, as a pro musician, tearing down and setting up efficiently are central to good gigs. These cables, while delivering good sound quality, do not coil up easily, which, means they also don't uncoil smoothly when you're laying them out from the board to speakers. Pay the extra money, get better, heavier cables. They'll coil and uncoil more quickly.
