Jackson X Series King V KVXMG - Satin Black Reviews
The Jackson X Series King V KVXMG draws on a proud lineage rock and metal royalty. Its lightweight string-through poplar body and graphite-reinforced maple neck are well equipped for all shades of tonal tyranny. A 12"–16" compound fingerboard radius gives you wicked playability in any fret position. And active EMG 85/81 humbucking pickups — the consummate high-gain pickup set if there ever were one — deliver the pummeling attack and blistering heat your amps and modelers have been waiting for. Factor in a double-locking Floyd Rose Special trem system that twists and dives with the best of them, and with the X Series King V KVXMG from Sweetwater, you're well on your way to creating memorable rock and metal riffs.

Metal Rock Monster
Love this guitar, the tone, the sound of the pickups, the triangle shape, the glossy black finish. It is a full-blown rock machine. I love this guitar. I am so lucky to own a house full of high-quality electric guitars. Jaykidd.
Devastating
Not many nay sayers because this guitar is underrated. Matte black and built with everything you need for massive tone. Neck thru, emg 81+85,double locking tremolo and patented Floyd rose bridge. How it's so reasonable is beyond me. My Rhoades pro can't even compete. And to those that dog jackson- learn how to play and appreciate quality.
Not much to say other than…
The guitar is a absolute beast of a unit, absolute chonk to it.
Jackson X Series Satin Black King V
Totally Radical Awesome Guitar! Applied GHS Graphite Guitar Lube to the saddle bridge and fine tuned the strings. Custom set the heavy metal pre amp parameters on my Line 6 Ultimate Tone for Guitar. The Jackson King V is almost as long as my Ibanez BTB electric bass. Totally wicked size to accompany my smaller Ibanez RG 370 DX electric guitar. Ready to go! Thanks for doing such a "sweet" job Sweet Water!
Great Rock/Metal Guitar
I was really suprised how nice this guitar plays and feels. It's very light since there is less body than most traditional guitars but has great sustain and sound. The active EMG pickups give a nice range of tone but are on the aggressive side (which I like). The neck is nice and thin and the frets feel smooth and are a good size. This is now my go to axe and I have 3 other more expensive Schecter, PRS, and Line 6 models.
Great guitar/Great sound
I bought this almost a year ago and it has been working great. When it was delivered two strings were snapped but it was an easy fix. Other than that it was in great condition no scratches or chips. The sound is killer on both pickups. I'm running it through a peavey 6505+ and Marshall cab. 100% recommend this guitar. The staff in the company know their stuff and will definitely help you through every question you'll have!
Jackson pro series kvmah
Awesome giuitar. Been wanting a Jackson for years and after having a few godson V's a Gibson V and a charvel I decided to jump on my king V. This thing rocks ! I'm so glad I made the jump. Smooth fast neck nice jumbo frets and the Floyd Rose is a great touch for staying tune. The pickups a Seymour Duncan jb in the bridge position with a Duncan 59 in the neck. Sounds great sweet miss and highs with a balls punching crunchy low combined with a blackstar 100 watt all tube head and can and it's 80's metal heaven All over again!
My favorite guitar
Great example of what Jackson is doing nowadays. Wanted one of these for years and this is the guy I went with and I couldn't be happier. Sweetwater prepped and primed this thing and it shreds kreator like you wouldn't believe. If you love Vs. This one is a must. Just block off the trem! Lol
The King of all Vs
Hands down my favorite playing and sounding guitar in the arsenal. I was curious about the satin finish and it turns out the satin finish on the neck makes it play faster with ease and it more comfortable. The EMGs rock hard!!!
Guitar was trash, SWEETWATER IS AWESOME
Upon unboxing the Jackson V there was obvious manufacture defects. Jackson/fender is not a quality instrument by any means. Tuners were not screwed in properly, delamination from fretboard and neck, multiple paint blemishes...the guitar was trash just by looking at. Ive bought better guitars for cheaper at pawn shops. Sweetwater customer service though made it right. On second go around, i got another albeit trash Jackson but thats not the point. Daniel Mendoza is awesome and made this transaction worthwhile. He helped me out to the point where i would definitely still buy from SWEETWATER for sure. There customer service is the best compared to other guitar stores. As for Jackson/fender...never again. Thank you Daniel and Sweetwater for helping me out and making this right. I will do with what i got and appreciate all that you have done for me
Jackson v king
I been wanting this guitar for a while, it's a beautiful heavy metal guitar but setup was no good, lots of string buzz not playable out off box still trying to set up , kind of disappointed, should have gotten the one with out the Floyd Rose, I might return guitar.
