There's really not much to add or say about the X32 Compact. It's great and does more than most venues need. I want to review the service from Sweetwater--It's awesome!! Everything I order is correct, fast delivery and expert tech advice. Brandon Eden rocks! My only question is, are all the sales reps as good as Brandon?

effects, are messed up. Delay does not work at all. reverb is weak and cheap. If you purchased one have fun trying to learn it. The effects are not user friendly use and employee, My x32 must be a lemon. I do what they say to do from the videos but still is hard and is junk. I am a research engineer and it is still hard for me to learn this mixer. Maybe I need to get someone from sweatwater to come and help me here in my studio to get this thing to run.

Everything I expected

We have a X32 and Wing already in our church. I ordered this one for online mixing. I like the X32 mixer but I truly wish there was a compact version of the Wing. The wing has a lot more processing power. The X32 gets the job done but the Wing would be much better.

As a newby to the digital world, I'm learning as I go along. Very excited to start using my new equipment.

The X32 compact is a super versatile, easy to use console. It has all the features you expect out of a premium digital mixer, but at a more affordable price. It's also high quality and extremely reliable. I do find the rotary knobs somewhat clunky - a touch screen would really sweeten the deal, especially for saving scenes and labeling channels. At this price point, however, few other digital consoles offer the features and quality of the X32 compact.

The X32 is the Toyota corolla of digital mixing boards. Its the OG. Very reliable and easy to use. There are tons of resources online and on youtube to learn the ins and outs of this board. I'm a musician but learned the basics of the X32. I've used the older model, the rack and also the compact. It all depends whos running the board. I've seen amazing sound engineers make this board sound amazing and also people who dont know what they are doing make this board sound like trash. I've installed the x32 at a small which with Electro-Voice speakers and subs and also P16s and WOW, this system sounds amazing.

This digital mixer hits hard when trying to mix all your channels to the house and to the musicians. Extremely versatile and easy to use. If your a first time user to Behringer products, this is a must have if you need a compact digital mixer that's easy to use. There's a lot of stuff to use on this mixer but once you get the hang of it, you can make loads of mixes and not worry about losing anything. Great mixer at a great price.

Motorized faders, effects, 16 decent mic pre-amps, colorized scribble strips, enough outputs to use with IEMs, remote control...all with a very intuitive interface. The manual says "View button rules!" and it really does. Tap View button in each section to see useful feedback for all the knobs and sliders (the eQ section is especially lovely). The Sends of Faders option is ridiculously useful, makes dealing with IEMs easy. If you need more than 16 inputs or 8 outputs, go for full version, otherwise this Compact version really hits the sweet spot!

did exactly what i needed for a small ampitheater. needed to upgrade to the bigger one though! great buy for smaller venues/shows.

We use the X32 Compact (to death) at our church. At first everyone thought that it was over-kill. Then came all the church enhancements in the next few years (especially during the covid 19 pandemic part I). I was able to connect feeds to the overflow, nursery and vestibule. Then came the streaming requirement. Using the USB port on the back of this mixer, I was able to get a fantastic feed to OBS for live streaming. I have recently added the ability to use a DAW (Cakewalk by Bandlab) which is amazing. You might have to study up on some of these things or get help as they require knowledge (and confidence) on how to route inputs and outputs on the mixer. This took me a little to get good at by the way. It is not all easy, but I am not rating it on easy. I am rating it on capability. We also use an S16 Digital snake for the front of house. All of these things are amazing! I really love this mixer. Admittedly, I am a Software Engineer (GEEK). Gotta have one in your organization you know. Then Train. Start simple. I have an 8 year old on the mixer some Sundays. She can handle the simpler parts of the job. Amazing too.

I have been in the sound industry for a while. I have been to many churches, some large and some small, and even some large outdoor events. When I was in the market for a digital mixer for smaller churches, I was skeptical about the X32 Compact, but after I read some reviews, I decided to buy it anyway. It has been one of my favorite pieces of gear since I bought it. This thing is extremely powerful for the size, and is the best thing since sliced bread in my opinion. It obviously won't be able to replace my Yamaha CL5, but it was really impressive for its size. It even convinced me to buy a Midas M32 after using it. I cannot recommend this more!

The X32's ch. 9 was defective out of the box. I Called Sweetwater and they replaced it before I was even able to return the defective unit. There was no cost to return the defective unit. Always a great price, excellent service, fast and free shipping, with dependable products

We bought it for our church. Sounds great. I recommend getting a professional or someone who familiar with this mixer to help with the setup. It’s not really something you can figure out on your own lol but it’s all worth it

Let me just say it right up front, this board is more mixer than the average sound guy (girl) will ever need. It makes it so there is no excuse to not be digital. The price is as good as analog boards that have less channels and there is no need for any external gear. The possibilities are ridiculous. You don't need crossovers, time delays, effects, processors or anything. It's all on board. Just to put it to rest once and for all, I used to be a Behringer nay sayer too, BUT they have come a long way from the poorly made equipment they built years ago. I've used this board for a few years and it's worth every penny.

Is there anything this board can"t do?!?!? Yes...you can"t mix down your recordings without a compatible DAW but holy smokes does this thing kill it live! Easy to use, program, and tweak on the fly. Must have for any serious gigging musicians.

I had the opportunity to use this board last Saturday night for a live show 12 piece band, with 2 singers and an additional vocal mic for each instrumentalist. They had 8 monitor feeds and 5 groups set up. The regular sound guy had set it up and become ill. I had never seen this board before, but this board is so intuitive and easy to use that I was able to figure everything out on the fly with no issues at all. I have a bit of experience, but am definitely not a professional. I highly recommend this one for any level of experience. It is also lightweight and easy to carry.

Just got this guy a few weeks ago and finally got the chance to set it up tonight. Immediately out of the box it seemed the #9 fader was sticking a bit. Didn't think it was a big deal until I started switching between inputs and the fader would make a grinding/rubbing noise and not move consistently with the other ones. Looks like a have a bad unit that will need to be returned. I think this is probably a good board for the money and the workflow seems pretty intuitive. Having said that, I can understand what others are saying about the build quality being sub-par. It definitely doesn't have the same feel as a quality board... in fairness, it doesn't have the same price tag either.

Shelby did such a great job helping in our sound/music area of our church. Also in getting us the x32 and new cord!! Blessings to Sweetwater and especially to Shelby!

This is a great mixer that offers all that the full X32 offers but in a smaller package!

All XLR outputs and 2 aux channels went completely out. Worthless now. Durability just not as good as other brands and not user friendly.

Purchased this for our church. Having minimal background in audio, I found this board to be user friendly and easy to use after only a little time spent with it. Our old board was terrible with noise and poor sound quality. This board has truly blown us away, people who had no idea we replaced the board immediately noticed how much better the sound is. The size is just right for our smaller sound booth and sacrifices nothing.

I recently got this board along with the sd32 Stagebox and paired it to my Turbosound IQ15s and IQ18bs and all I have to say is. Wow! I had mixed on the bigger X32 at clubs and some outdoor events and was very pleased. But having this for myself I'm a happy camper.

I was working 2016 New Year gig on my X32 compact. But at this time I connected my old Yamaha SPX90|| as an external effect. Guess what? Right, SPX90 is the winner. I don't want to use delay and reverb from X32 anymore.

So, X32 is nice mixer that can imitate big stage sound with strong sound pressure. Also, good for home studio. But not enough for professional applications!

I have been using this along with 2 of the behringer s16 digital snakes. Full 32 channels all connected by 1 single AES Cat5 cable. Have done a couple month tours with it already in various places of the U.S. Not one glitch... Good sound, effects and capabilities, the rest falls on the engineer and the quality of the band/venue/room/speakers... etc Some venues we end up using a board that they already have due to it being far superior to the x32, but for the most part, A good mix will stand on its own with the x32 in all venues.

Recording to USB is easy and works out great. I like everything about this board. The app could be a little nicer looking but it does offer a lot of control to this.

If you download Waves FREE Tracks Live Software, you can record all inputs multitracked. You can also do virtual soundcheck with it. Can also use waves plugins with it. All connected to your laptop by 1 usb cable. Highly capable board, get it!

Also don't get the producer version over the compact. You think scribble strips arent a big deal but when you have to go through layers of channels, you can get lost real quick. The colored and labeled digital scribble strip are a must!

Never thought I would find a board that served both studio and live reinforcement. Mostly have been using in the studio and it has fulfilled all of my expectations and then some!! Interfacing with your DAW is a breeze as well as all connections. The learning curve is a little steep but Behringer has done a fantastic job with providing YouTube videos that explain it all! Only trouble I had was when the driver needed to be uninstalled and installed once again. The computer (Windows 7) did not recognize the X32 until I reinstalled the driver. After these minor issue, all was running again quite smoothly! Also, hoping that Behringer will update this driver soon. I do not believe they have provided an update in approx 2 years. Even so, if all is working with little issue, why reinvent the wheel??

This thing is indispensable! Flip the power switch and everything's ready to go - faders, eq's, fx, etc. + the ability to record direct to thumb drive (perfect for capturing jams + ideas at band practice!). This also makes it easy to practice with my drums fully-mic'd up / EQ'd / leveled out with a metronome or music from my iPhone, which is as close to heaven as it gets! I use the USB interface for recording 12 tracks at a time direct to Cubase / no more worries with latency or post-EQ since I can monitor direct from the mixer!

The layout takes some getting used to (spent a good deal of time with the user manual for the first couple weeks I owned this). Also, for recording, don't expect the same A/D quality or sample rates you'd get from (say) a FireFace 800 or other high-end interface, but that's really a non-issue since most of what I use this for is practice, live sound and demo recording.

As a worship leader without a steady sound man, running on our old analog equipment has been a challenge to say the least. After installing the X32 compact (with s16 digital snake), the overall features, including remote control and X-USB card to record to (and play back from) a PC are pretty amazing... especially at this price point. I've never understood parametric EQs like I do now either - having that graphic display somehow brought it to life and I'm now really able to fine tune our sound.. overall - awesome equipment!

I mixed a 15 band festival using this board last weekend using 20+ inputs per band. I used the iPad to mix, and the s16 digital snake system for more inputs. I had zero issues related to this system. Perfection. The "trueq" on monitors was fantastic. The mic pres, the eq and compression built in are effective and easy to dial in and sound great!
I was concerned about the speed of navigating around the board coming from a 100% analog system, but I can say for sure that the GUI is very fast and intuitive. At a festival, speed is the key. I got tons of compliments, and was asked to provide a business card by many many people. I recommend the x32 in any of its wonderful forms to anyone looking for affordable, top rung live sound quality. This is our companies (3) Behringer X32. We own 2 of the big ones and wanted to grab another especially at this price!

Essentially it is the EXACT same board as the big brother, less the XLR inputs and 8 XLR outputs. But if you own (2) of the S16 stage boxes, this bad boy is a full blown 32 x 16 console!

I highly recommend buying this board over anything else in its price point. It offers way more features than any other board in this class.
