Limited-edition Reissue of a Classic EQD Overdrive
The EarthQuaker Devices White Light V2 is a limited-edition reissue of the company's impossible-to-find, hard-clipping, vintage-voiced dirt pedal. The White Light V2 takes its cues from two famous stompboxes, housing a 250-style circuit and a Distortion Plus-style circuit while also providing you with a stable of enhanced features. This stompbox's Weight control adds saturation and low end, which is great for dialing in single-coil or humbucker tones. And its Comp switch allows you to fine-tune the character of its distortion. These options make the White Light V2 a perfect candidate for '70s-style grit or for hammering your amp's front end into the exact drive you need. Limited to 2,000 units, the White Light V2 boasts an all-analog signal path, a true-bypass design, and silent Flexi-Switch Technology.

Based on two giants of overdrive
The '70s-era 250-style and Distortion Plus-style overdrive circuits are responsible for famous guitar tones such as Yngwie Malmsteen's screaming Marshalls and Randy Rhoads's cutting high gain. The guitarists here at Sweetwater have found that the White Light V2 not only gives you these familiar drive tones, but modern additions like true bypass and added controls allow you to achieve sounds beyond the original pedals.

Controls for fine-tuning your sound
The pedals that inspired the EarthQuaker Devices White Light V2 carried only Gain and Level controls. They worked great, but if you wanted something different, you'd need another pedal. This isn't the case with the White Light V2. Its additional Weight control allows you to add low-end saturation to your signal. This really helps dial it in for single-coil or humbucking pickups. And the Comp switch gives the White Light V2 two separate voices. Switched out, you have an open tone that emphasizes the high-mids. Switch it in, and your tone is more compressed, a bit fatter, and less aggressive.
