The Wuhan 11" splash cymbal's crisp, quick accents make an excellent bit of sonic decoration for your drum set. When we ran the 11" splash through its paces here at Sweetwater, we found that its larger size gave it a distinctive character that really sets it apart. If you're looking to add a splash of seasoning to your drum sound, the Wuhan 11" splash cymbal is a superb choice.
Update
After really getting to blow it out at practice with this cymbal, my initial opinion has definitely changed. In a band or live setting the little gongy undertone completely disappears. Makes a great shimmery splash. Definitely a nice addition to the arsenal.

Bright splashy very short explosive crash with almost no decay but just a little gongy for me,but not disappointed enough to return it. It will definitely find a place in my arsenal. Not a bad cymbal just not what I'm looking for. I'll probably end up with a Zildjian.

Excellent LIKE a mini GONG.... medium bright splash, darker sustain... sounds and records beautiful...also have Wuhan 12 and 18 china's...they sound amazing together...

You always take your chances when buying online - this one cymbal just didn't escape the pitfalls of mass- production, I guess. Kind of has an atonal gong-y "clang" to it that my 12" and 10" Wuhan splashes don't (I LOVE those other two) Not really worth my effort to return it - I'll probably just use it in a trash-stack. These cymbals are a great value, usually - This particular one was a lemon, though.

Nice cheap splash cymbal from trusty Wuhan, it's got a bright, icy attack and is perfect for quick punctuations. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat
Perfect cymbal for quick, sharp, accents.
My love for Wuhan cymbals keeps growing and growing. I've purchased the 12", 11", 10 hi hat and just recently the 20" medium heavy ride. I seriously love the sounds and feel. The prices are amazing for the magnificent sound. I did use 3 small pieces of tape on the ride for my tastes for jazz.
