BUYER BEWARE
The Wuhan Koi Ride that i purchased was great while it lasted. However, Wuhan is manufacturing these rides to fail. The hammering on the bell is done in such a way that it weakens the structure around the hammer points, causing inevitable sracks to the bell from regular use. Wuhan only offers a two-month warranty, so when these cracks develop, you are SOL. Mine lasted 11 months before the cracks began to affect the sound and playability.

The 21" Koi ride is very, very good. It could easily be a $ cymbal, but it isnt.. which makes it even more sweet.

I put my Wuhan 21 inch Koi ride in a open garage with a Paiste 22 inch 2002 and a Sabian 22 inch HH ride !!! The Wuhan Koi sounds pretty Much as Great as the the others Cymbals !!! You Should Be Very Happy With The Koi ride Cymbal !!! I Am !!!
Surprising quality
Honestly, I am so surprised by the quality. Bought this for our church and it sounds perfect as our crash ride. Seems to be holding up really well the past few weeks too. Can't beat the price!
Beyond Satisfied.
I felt like I was taking a chance on Wuhan but I'm glad I did. These are the best sounding thin weight cymbals I've ever played. Beautiful wash, glassy ping, and cuts through the mix without being too loud. I couldn't be happier. I bought the 15" hats and 21" ride. What a great pairing. Rock, jazz, fusion, you name it, they'll do it.
21 inch Koi Ride
WOW! This cymbal is fantastic. It will give the player many options depending on the type of stick used. Go bright with a nylon tip or dark with a wood tip. Gives me much more sustain than other well known brands. The Sweetwater demo on these sold me and playing these cymbals has made me a big fan of the Koi by Wuhan.
