Wuhan 18-inch Western Medium Thin Crash Cymbal
Wuhan 18-inch Western Medium Thin Crash Cymbal Reviews
The Wuhan 18" Medium Thin crash cymbal delivers a gorgeous sizzle with explosive response and rapid decay. At Sweetwater, we've found that the 18" Medium Thin crash is an exceptional all-purpose large cymbal, thanks to its remarkable balance of tremendous power and short sustain. If you're looking for a huge-sounding accent that won't overwhelm you with sustain, the Wuhan 18" Medium Thin crash cymbal is an excellent choice.
SURPRISE WUHAN!!
Wow just enjoying the new flavor of sound!! I'm really starting to love the Wuhan western series. 18-in western crash has a beautiful attack with a subtle and mellow wash
Punches WAY above its price point
Honestly, it sounds just as good, if not better than some crashes from the Big 4 companies. Nice, dark, with a short sustain. Most importantly, doesn't break the bank.
18” Medium Thin
This is Tuff! My second time buying this crash and I'm never disappointed by wuhan fr. Next Up, koi or linear smash.
So far so good!
I have to say that I am quite impressed with Wuhan cymbals now.
Wuhan Cymbals
This Cymbal Is One Of The Dopest Cymbals I've Ever Had. If you are looking for a great Cymbal to your set, this will be a purchase you will never regret.
Watch out big 3!!
After having purchased a 20" Wuhan KOI Ride (and digging it), I decided to give their crashes a whirl. I've always loved my Wuhan Chinas but kind of expected they were a one trick pony. I read some reviews saying their crashes are nasty and "gongy". I just bought 16" and 18" medium thin crashes and I'm pulling some "big 3" cymbals out of my set because they sound so good. Very glassy/shimmering and musical. Still early, I'm not a heavy hitter, I've broken a few "big 3" cymbals over 37 years of playing. We'll see how these hold up to being hit. If they do... There may be no reason to go elsewhere at this price...
Awesome addition for my kit
Blends in perfectly. Great sound with just the right amount of sustain
Beautiful
This thing is fairly dark with a nice white-hot sizzle, yet has the brilliant sweetness of an A-Custom. Great price and versatile sound. I have this set up with their 16" Thin Crash (similar with a bit less sweetness) & their 18" Linear Smash (just get one!)...
Chef's kiss.
Perfect fit
Awesome sound and blends perfectly with my 16" Paiste crash. Highly recommended

Excelente producto y sonido exepcional
Me gustó muchísimo
Se los recomiendo...me gustó muchísimo
Big Dark Sound
I replaced a thin crash that I really enjoyed with this cymbal (at 2/3 the cost). It has an almost gong-like phasing/washing quality that I absolutely love using in my metal band. I don't use it when I want a sharp attack and quick decay, but I have other cymbals for that. The finish is gorgeous, and the cymbal has held up very nicely to my whacking it for three months.
Wuhan Cymbal
Very nice loud sound and sustainable response. I love it.
Not just a great low-priced cymbal - It is a GREAT cymbal!!
2nd best cymbal on the market for the price!
..and the only reason it's not #1 = that honor belongs to its 16" medium thin crash-cousin. I bought the 16" first and quickly followed suit with this cymbal, and I have been so pleased.
NOTE: I read a lot about this cymbal having a "far eastern" or "gong-ish" sound. I get where people are coming from, but I play in 3 bands (1. Alt rock, original music; 2. 90's grunge covers; 3. Classic rock covers) and this cymbal plays phenomenally for all three.
Great addition to any kit. Treat yo'self; you won't be disappointed!
Wuhan 18" crash
As I have mentioned before in reviews about Wuhan cymbals, if you're a drummer on a tight budget these cymbals sound great for the price!
This 18in crash has a nice quick sound with not a lot of sustain, and a slight Far Eastern sound as opposed to your typical rock or Jazz crash cymbals.
Awesome cymbal!!
Such a good sounding cymbal for the price. Nice warm tone, cuts through very well without being too loud.
18
This is a good cymbal. It melds well with the other higher pitch cymbals I have. It does have some wash and is not as responsive as the 16" thin crash. It does serve a purpose in the overall tonality of my cybal expression.
