I don't have a gong. I made a few alteration (made the wall side of the feet shorter) with my angle grinder. I set this up behind my Kronos and my Grandstage X. I mounted two mikes (one for vocorder) and I also mounted a large ipad amd an android. I can read music on the Android and record into the ipad. I even have a mount for my iphone so I can record video as well.

I only wish the upper arm used the same size and quality as the legs so it would be stronger.

thank you for giving attention to an overnight order of an inexpensive emergency gong stand. It worked, we eliminated any squeaks easily and I was able to record! Your willingness to assist even the smallest order and request will have me coming back again and again to you!

The gong stand worked VERY well. Steady and accommodated my 36" gong perfectly. We were on a very tight schedule and after a lot of playing and moving it around, there was a squeak, but placing simple sandbags on it quickly and it went away. Eventually tightening it took care of the issue but we did not have the time. We really put this gong stand through a lot.

Once again, very nice product offered by the sweetwater team. Iv'e never made a poor purchase through with Sweetwater. The team has always steered me in the right direction to best suits my needs. I have 5 kits and each has at least one componant purchased through SW.

I have to shout out to Jake T. Drum Tech at sweetwater. If you haven't had the pleasure of worked with Jake, you've missed out. Jake is a great Drum Tech, and he knows his stuff about the product's offered at SW. I cant thank Jake enough.. Always a pleasure.

Wow! a great stand. I am very frugal(cheep). I was quite surprised at the quality of this stand. It is very sturdy. Super easy to assemble. It is adjustable.perfect!
