EVH Wolfgang Special Chlorine Burst
Really thrilled with the quality of this guitar, sounds and play great. Neck instantly felt comfortable in my hands and reminds me of how easy my original Ernie Ball Musicman EVH signature guitar is. Guitar is a solid build and exactly what I was hoping for when I first started wanting it a few years back, this color was on backorder for quite a long time after EVH's passing too. Sweetwater did a great job with the setup and delivery, no issues. This is the 3rd guitar I have purchased from them. Also bought a Richie Kotzen Telecaster and a Fender EVH red and black.

Recently moved to South Korea. Sold all my gear before I left the states. Now, that Im settled in. I had planned to buy an electric guitar over here. You would think being made in Korea, would be cheaper, NOT! I was especially looking for a EVH Wolfgang Special. Being made in Mexico, outrageous prices over here. Was looking at Used at a certain USA site, but lot of sellers wont ship to military APO address. Thank you once again for Sweetwater. Not only did a find a great EVH Wolfgang Special at a DEMO price, they offered FREE shipping to APO. Arrived to me in 10 days from day of order Guitar was in excellent condition. I saved couple hundred as a DEMO, which I saw NO FLAW at all. I love the Chlorine Burst and Baked Maple neck. Smooth, unfinished feel, fast. Top notch service as always. Especially love the 55 point inspection. Thats always a PLUS in my book. Been a customer for years and years. Never a problem. Thanks again.
Plays and feels great
I have a tele and a Gibson Les Paul. The EVH plays and feels great. The sound is perfect. Just awesome.

After 1 year 3 months and 4 days after my initial order it finally arrived from EVH and I have to say it was flawless. I had a custom set up done by Sweetwater due to my inexperience with a Floyd and I have to say it was spot on. What a fun guitar to play and a great experience with Sweetwater. Derrick Meade was in constant contact with me through the entire process and called me the minute it hit their door.If you are looking for a shredder and you can get your hands on one, don't hesitate you wont be sorry. As far as Sweetwater and their staff, you won't find a better experience out there!

I have owned 12 guitars in my life. From Charvel to ltd, Jackson and Gibson.
Currently my main guitar was an ltd arrow 1000.
I got this evh for Christmas. It plays and sounds better than any guitar I have ever owned. Ed was right. Basswood with a maple cap in the holy grail of tone. The baked maple neck is so solid and stable. I tuned it. Played 16 hours in 2 days and never went out of tune. The neck is so smooth and great for my small hands.
Worried about bolt on neck? Don't be. I was a neck through guy. This guitar comes with a brass tremelo block. The sustain is better than my neck through ltd arrow. I figure neck is easier to fix and replace with bolt on. Bolt on was good enough for the king so it's good enough for me.
My ltd arrow is going up for sale. I would never play it again after playing a Wolfgang. It's that good.
I'm converted. I'll be picking up another in 2022 to keep in a different tuning.
Worth the wait
The guitar plays flawlessly and the neck is extremely smooth. The 3-way switch can get in the way when you are tapping. It is not reversed like the USA Signature model is. I have hit the switch a few times. The look is incredible. Please keep in mind when you are looking at the pictures online; the guitar appears brighter than it actually is in your hands. It has been almost a year to the day that I ordered the guitar before I got it. It was absolutely worth the wait. I have over the year considered getting either the solar or ivory but, I'm glad I stayed with the Chlorine Burst. The color and pattern on the guitar is so unique to what I have seen other versions of the chlorine bust look like.
