First off: I'm a drummer for a pretty large church. I was looking for a kit with excellent professional-grade sound and quality in addition to superior live/recording capabilities. Ordered this kit after shopping around various online stores and ended up buying from Sweetwater. A great decision.

Soon after I placed my order, I received a follow-up call from Jacob Agee (the online sales agent). This guy really knew his stuff. He went over my order with me in great detail and assured me that my order would be shipped immediately. He was so courteous and was willing to answer any and all questions I had regarding my order. Shipping:
Placed my order and received it just 3 days later. I was also able to receive text updates on the status of the packages. Once the package arrived, everything was delivered in pristine condition.

Product:
One word: WOW. Tama really outdid themselves on this relatively new walnut/birch shell. Excellent low-end punch on every tom with a biting and cutting attack. The mounting system perfectly allows the rich wood shell to resonate beautifully. I replaced the stock Evans G2 batter with Remo coated emperors and man... I'm so happy with the result. The 22" kick drum is smaller than I'm used to playing (16x24) so I was skeptical at first. Don't let the smaller size fool you. This guy is big and punchy! I went with the Aquarian super kick ii batter and the super kick resonant head and this, in my opinion, pairs beautifully with this drum.
Side note: for those who insist on putting pillows or baffles in their kick drum, don't even think about it! Don't stifle the natural sound of this drum with all that. It's perfect as it is.

Overall:
Couldn't be happier with the company and product. Without question, I'll make Sweetwater my go-to stir for all things music gear. I look forward to working with Jacob again in the future.
