I bought the WA-MBA Broadcast Microphone Boom Arm for my home studio that I'm building and it is exactly as advertised. Works great, and very easy to put together right out of the box (of course it is just a boom after all). The service at Sweetwater is fantastic as always, which is why I continue to order from them! I live in Tennessee, but would highly recommend Sweetwater. Every time I go to one of our local music stores (and there are many here) they almost always check Sweetwater on their phone when looking for the gear I need. I am definitely a satisfied return customer!

I have WA mics, mic-pres and stereo compressor....so, why not add a Broadcast Boom Arm to the mix? Besides writing, engineering and producing original music, I also have a Podcast for business. The boom arm really is a great piece of equipment and makes my life much easier. It is very well build, works as expected and looks cool!! I would highly recommend the WA-MBA Broadcast Mic Boom.

I had a Blue Microphone Boom Arm previously and decided to get the Warm Audio Boom Arm to go with my WA-87 R2. After getting it and setting it up I like the construction and how it feels. Very Solid! Now with that being stated, I have to admit that when it comes to handling the weight of the WA-87 R2 it is not as good at handling the weight as the Blue Microphone Boom arm. There is not enough tension in the arm. There is a tension screw yet (not documented yet picture added) after tightening it is still not enough tension for the WA87 R2. For heavy microphones I would recommend the Blue Microphone Boom arm as it handles them with ease.

I do understand the weight limits of the arm yet most of Warm Audio Microphones are heavy and figured it would be built to at least handle microphones that they sell. One final thought was that I did wish was there was a tool (A wrench that would fit the pattern design) to adjust this nut to tighten the shock mount easier (picture below).

This is a well-constructed, industrial strength Condenser Mic Boom Arm for either temporarily or permanently affixing a large Condenser mic or other to a desktop. This item didn't work for me, personally, due to the size and real estate that it took away in my small home recording studio set-up. A mini-Boom arm on a heavy-duty stand is all I need. At the same time, I would imagine anyone wanting a real beefy temporary or permeant solution would appreciate this Warm high quality microphone boom arm for podcasting or somewhat larger scale set-ups than my own.
