A great guitar at a great price.
When I saw this guitar at a guitar shop,it caught my eye with it's great appearance.
I played it, then looked around at more expensive guitars, including Taylor, Martin, etc., which I also played. I would come back to this Washburn after each guitar I played, and it compared very well. Something about the sound and comfort of it that impressed me, for a guitar that was so inexpensive.
Well, I bought it, and I have played it at a few gigs. It may not sound as majestic as my Martin, but it is a joy to play, and sounded great at my gig yesterday. An audience member came up at the break to praise the look and sound of my Washburn, and told me he loved his own Washburn guitar.

This thing is really nice!
I'm surprised by the quality of this guitar. It was almost perfectly tuned to E when I got it out of the box. The strings seem fairly decent. The guitar has a beautiful sound. The neck is really comfortable in my hand. It looks nice enough my kids haven't even touched it yet. For the price, I didn't expect what I received. I'm looking forward to them guitar aging and having the kids pick it up. I hope it survives traveling with us.
Very nice for the price
I'm very happy with my new acoustic/electric. Even it sells like an beginner gig I can tell you it's quite a pro. The acoustic volume is high, the intonation (by ear) is perfect, stays in tune at all times and the neck is very playable except for an action a little bit high to my taste. I change the strings to a lighter set (.010-.047) to do some bendings and low the action a little bit. The tuner works fine and the preamp has a broad set of tones using the different options of the equalizer. Totally very nice for the price.
Just unboxed
This guitar plays like a much more expensive guitar. The sound is loud and clean. The resonance is superb. So glad I purchased the guitar. Arrived in perfect tune. Can't say enough good about this guitar or about Sweetwater music. Thank you.
Constantly having to re'tune.
Nice sound, but constantly having to re-tune. Would not recommend!
