I almost sent this guitar back...
I opened the case, and almost put it right back in the box. The color shown on screen was not even close to what I received. I was shocked. What appeared to be a dusty pink turned out to be a fluorescent orange, like a traffic cone, almost glow-in-the-dark. The guitar felt so natural in my hands, I made the mistake of strumming it. It was noticeably louder unplugged than any of my other electrics. Action was low with no buzzing or high frets. So, I plugged it in, and the Friedman Classic pickups were great sounding and articulate, even with a good amount of dirt, each string was clearly heard. Must be the PLEKing that makes the frets so perfect, plays effortlessly, any style. I proceeded to buy 3 more Friedmans, all Metro D set-neck models. Am a fan for life, looking for my next one...
