WARNING: this is addictive!! Using this alongside Presonus Studio One's Orchestra sound libraries and between the two, I have just about everything one might need to create a very convincing, very beautiful symphonic soundscape. This sucker is large and a bit on the CPU hungry-side, and there is a slight learning curve to really be able to manhandle it and get it to do exactly what you need/want it to do... But it does it and well. 10/10 would buy again! a steal for the price!

Having lots of fun with this. The sounds are just incredibly realistic. VSTI performance using pretty old computer in Studio One Pro 5 gives ear to ear grins (late 2012 Mac Mini 16gb ram/Samsung 860 EVO ssd/ Arturia Lab 49 kbd) . I also have Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 which lets you split up the patches & load up tons of them without fear of crashing your DAW. Awesome job VSL!!!

I love this software! Wonderful for composing, improvising and gaining ideas. Can't recommend it enough for any composer/arranger/creative musician out there!

Took a while to get it up and running and connected to my Ableton Live 10 Suite. But thanks to Sweetwater tech support,
I have to say how much I love the sounds and the options of one instrument, several instruments, or the whole orchestra at one time! Easy to operate with lots of sliders and buttons to customize my own sound. I just added on the Vienna Smart Hits, which is another awesome program, as I write hybrid movie trailers.

This thing is amazing. As a composer and arranger, I find this tremendously useful to have. I recommend using the software with a MIDI keyboard, then plug in some headphones and let your imagination run wild! The sounds are unbelievable realistic and you can achieve amazing dynamic nuances and subtleties. My only issue is I haven't figured out how to switch patches using the keyboard yet, but that's my issue, not the programs. For the price, I can't recommend it highly enough! Go and get one!

I found this App very hard to install on my MacBook Air M2, Studio One 6. It took two days to install and get it up running. Way too many steps to go through. You'll have to setup an ILock account and get it working first. The App itself, beautiful sounds and a lot to explore.

I only been playing around with the software a couple of days and I like it. The problem that i have it is not too much with the software but with the way Logic Pro X is trying to handle the vst instruments. I have a mac with a processor 3 GHz, an Intel core I7, My memory is 16GB, 1.89 TB available and all I can hear is Crackling/Popping every time I'm using VST instruments. I tried playing around with the buffer and other settings but nothing seems to helps.
I saw the videos of the Vienna Symphonic Library and I got sold with the quality of the sounds but reality is that in order to get the instrument to sounds the way you listen to them, you have to be an an expert manipulating the software. Studio one 3 Professional seems to handle the VSL better than Logic Pro X but I prefer to work in Logic which it makes Vienna Smart Orchestra pretty much useless. I gave 3.5 because certain instruments sounded very processed other than real. I guess that's why it cost $... the layout of the software probably will make more sense to Cubase users but is just a matter of getting used to a different way of how Europeans lay out certain software products.

Had it for a year and in that year I have not gotten to the point that I can do anything other than occasionally through some remarkable point I get to play it for about five minutes and then it vaporizes. Recently I had Sweetwater help me and I probably need to go back to them and I get it again got to here for about 10 minutes and vaporized. I am not getting past getting it into my computer properly. It has yet to show up on my Ableton and do anything. It is sort of like a wonderful dream that you never get to realize. You can go to the tutorials and see how the main guy is able to do phenomenal things but I'm really not interested in watching somebody I want to use my software. So if you can get it to go it's probably great but frankly I think I might be going somewhere else. Incidentally when it failed recently they asked me to send them a report which I did and got no response. So I would say there supports pretty poor. I rank them a few stars because it sounds great, like that dream.
