Great sounding woofer
Only used this equipment for one week but so far it is doing exactly what we wanted. Very good purchase.
No disappointment here
I bought a set of these and used them at an outdoor amphitheatre with 4 15(2)s. Everyone was blown away by the amount of bass we were getting in an outdoor environment. 4 heavy metal bands and the bass guitars and kick drums were thumping. The cops even showed up to hear them. LOL. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a high quality sound without breaking the bank.
Great sounding thunderous subwoofer!
A good price aside, these Behringer speakers sound great! We are using these for the PA system for our marching band side-line instruments (the pit). Everything we have used from Behringer has been reliable and sounds fantastic! These subs (we are using two with 600 watts on each) are stout and very effective for low frequencies in music and for sound effects.
Ground pounder
Very good sub proud of the way I get looks and grins when I say lets crank the bass and people feels it in theyre chest pure bass no Bs vocals going through it specially when you run the I nuke through it on low and the subs built in crossover to it is just deep bass well worth the money only problem is I want to bridge the amp so I can get absolute power out of my amp to kick it up a level. and cant figure out how to do it with the I nuke series and it say bridgeable in the manuels
Awesome
I think this subwoofer is awesome! It packs a great punch for half the price of a JBL or other brand. Only downside to this unit is the weight and the material used for the enclosure itself, it's some kind of fragile particle board i'm guessing, which got damaged in shipping by FedEx on one of the corners most likely from a drop or other impact. Luckily Sweetwater is the best when it comes to customer service and they have sent a replacement and requested it be OVERPACKED. So I will be very careful transporting this unit as not to drop it or allow an impact to damage the box itself. For the money, I would say buy this unit, it will compliment your sound if you're lacking deep low end. Also when the unit arrived, it wouldn't make a sound, but I came to find it was just one of the wires going to the transducer came off the woofer terminal, it was a simple fix, and I even got out some pliers to make sure that the clips would be tighter when I slid the clip back on the terminal, I made sure It was as snug as can be.... as you wouldn't want that happening during a gig. The only way this unit could be better is to have a bit of a smaller profile, better enclosure/structural material and packaging. Other than that, you'll be very impressed and happy you only spent 230 on it.
VP1800S
Great low cabinet. And the price is awesome. Works wonderful for our weekend band.
Great Sound
Great sound coming out if this sub paired with a Behringer KM1700. My only issue with the sub is its integrity. The box is cheap particle board and not very sturdy. After 1 move, the front foot collapsed, the unit now wobbles. Everything else about it is so great, I hate to give it 3.5 stars, but the rigidity is a big factor.
Strong Sound, Weak Box
This sub has a great sound. I power this bad boy with a Behringer KM1700. My only problem is with the body. It's weak particle board. After one gig, even with gentle care and transport, the bottom board broke at the front where the foot is. Very weak point there where the body is cantilevered, even though it's only a few inches. The sub now rocks corner to corner. It hurts to give this thing such a low score, but if there's no integrity, it's useless.
