it's a leather strap with metal accents! looks cool on stage and does the job. My last LM strap lasted 20 years before becoming too worn, and I look forward to this strap lasting as long.

So this is more than just a guitar strap to me. Your company story that goes along with it is inspiring. My best friend got me your Viking Valkyrie Series strap for Christmas. This is my first guitar. At 53 I found learning to play helps with my stress levels. This strap will transition to every guitar I own from here on out. And the last guitar will get a new LM guitar strap Just like your story says, I plan to pass this strap down to my kids and hopefully they will do the same

Top quality, comfortable fit.

The Valkyrie model has the dagger attachment, and it tends to fall out of the holder when putting on and taking off the instrument. Also, you're going to have to shorten the chain once you find the right setting.

If you choose to use Dunlop strap locks, the leather is too thick to push the stem through, so you'll have to out it on the end of a screwdriver without the bit inserted in order to feed it through.

Other than that, this thing is probably the best quality leather you can get and once you get your strap locks on it's practically set in stone.

The strap looks great and is very well made. My complaints are that the specs say this is 59" and it is not. It's 54" tops which makes it too short for me. The other thing is that the strap pin holes are unreasonably small and won't fit a standard pin, much less a strap lock, without removing a good bit of leather.

I bought this strap about a year ago and I'll say that it has exceeded expectations. I honestly bought it because it looked cool, but i'm finding that it also rides well. I use it with a les paul style guitar from .s to 3 hours a day and it never gets uncomfortable. It's wise enough without being cumbersome and it's well built enough that I can't imagine it breaking.

My only complaint is that the little spine at the end of the chain occasionally falls out and dangles on the chain. Is really a small thing though.

The strap does what it's supposed to.

Three of these are owned and all used on Ibanez RG Prestige guitars. The straps look so cool and are comfortable to wear. The fact that it is wide where the strap meets the guitar is a good thing. The LM Odin, on two of my guitars, is a little wider in the back but doesn't come all the way down to the guitar. Two of the three Valkyries that came have a little rubber retainer to keep the dagger from coming out. The one that doesn't has put a few light scratches in the guitar finish from falling out and hitting the body. The dagger is jammed in real tight now. The chain hasn't caused any problems, but I'm always careful when putting the guitar away.

I got a Great deal on this Strap and I have to say it"s Amazing Quality. All leather and Beautifully made. This strip will age with you and will last you forever!

I love this strap. It definitely serves its function just fine as a guitar strap, but beyond that...I love how thick the leather is. I love how it reacts when bent. I love how it smells. etc etc. It just feels like the real deal.
