but will not recommend for electronic drum pads.. it stains the pad..
Great all around sticks
My go to stick for years was the Vic Firth 5B nylons. But more and more I was playing in smaller venues that had very live sound and the 5Bs were just to big and clumsy for these situations. So enter the Vic Firth 5A nylon tip. Small enough for the small spaces and also large enough for the outdoor gigs. Just a great all around stick. I highly recommend them.
Amazing sticks
I wanted to write a short review on these sticks. I had been using Vater Fusion nylon tip sticks for years and years. Then one day I saw a gentleman on Youtube using these sticks. I got curious and ordered a pair.
When they arrived I was a little scared. They were kinda thin compared to my Fusion sticks. I was afraid I'd lose power and volume. I am very happy to day that did not happen and this is pretty much my new stick of choice. They are weighted and long enough to give me the power I demand from a stick while being light enough to keep my hands fast and not fatigue them.
I recommend these sticks very highly. I'm not using budget sticks anymore either lol. Life is too short to use curved, budget sticks. I'm worth a name brand!
