The entire library comes bundled as a virtual instrument inside Native Instruments' Kontakt Player engine where all sounds are accessed. There's no need to purchase a separate, expensive sampler or soundcard. The player is compatible with Macintosh OSX (10.3) or Windows XP and can be run as a standalone program or integrated as a plug-in in host programs to run more than one instance of the player (supports VST, AU, RTAS, and DXi plug-in formats).
