sE Electronics V7 Supercardioid Dynamic Handheld Vocal Microphone - Black Reviews
With the sE Electronics V7 handheld dynamic microphone in hand, you'll hit the stage with confidence. Its specialized aluminum voice coil offers natural-sounding reproduction of your voice, while simultaneously giving it a crisp, open quality. Its supercardioid design yields excellent isolation from stage noise and delivers massive amounts of gain before feedback. Rumble and handling noise aren't a problem for the V7, thanks to its integrated shockmount; while an internal windscreen prevents winds noise and plosives from ruining your performance. While the sE Electronics V7 is built for the stage with durable zinc alloy construction and a tour-tough beveled spring steel mesh grille, its stellar sonic performance makes it a go-to dynamic in the studio as well.

best buy
the sound is amazing, use it flat eq, just sounds clear and loud ... i will be getting two more of these very soon, thank you Sweetwater!!!
Unbelievable
I've been a vocalist for a lot of years, and this, by far is the best microphone I've ever put in front of me! The depth of Range is absolutely amazing!
Impressive resistance to feedback
Got a couple of these to replace some sm58's for my band. We were really struggling with feedback in our rehearsal space. We happened to lose a band member and the sm58's he was bringing. These absolutely eliminated that problem and handling nose. Icing on the cake, they sound great!
sE Electronics V7 Microphone
High quality, general purpose mic used for backup vocals.
I had considered a lower priced option but am glad that I took the advice of a Sweetwater customer engineer and invested a little more to get something of value. It was packaged with a decent stand and cable. I recommend purchasing the 20 Foot cable.
sE V7
Great mic. After decades of using the old standard SM58 and trying e935,835.beta87.Blue encore,beta58,super55 the sE V7 comes out of my gig bag 95% of the time now. Such a clean sound with the just right amount of brightness. I got so many compliments after the 1st time using this mic. It's a keeper for sure at such an affordable price.
Solid Handheld
For the money, this mic has great sonic clarity. I've only used it a couple of times so will be interested to see how it holds up, however so far I've been pleased. About to purchase a couple more.
Great Mic
One of our Sennheiser mics came up "missing" as I was preparing for a gig, I bought one of the SE electronics condenser mics and was pleasantly surprised so I thought I would give the V7 a try, the V7 is not as bright as the Sennheiser, that's not a bad thing, it's a more neutral mic, added a little high mid and a touch of highs for some air on top and it sounds as good or dare I say even better than the Sennheiser, don't let the price fool ya, it looks, feels, and most of all SOUNDS like a mic that costs at least twice as much, I purchase more in the future
No bleeding!
This is the first super cardioid mic I have used. I have several Se mics for speciality recording - I guess these are in that category as well; drum vocals and lead vocal. Very high quality reproduction of voicing,
Outstanding clarity
Recently purchased for use in church and was so impressed with everything about this mic, that I just purchased one for myself for solo and band projects. Thanks so much Sweetwater. !! Also would like to give a shoutout to my Sales Engineer, Luke Herian for your many years of great customer service. !!
Great value
You really won't find a better mic for the price. I've used a Senn 945 and an Audix OM7. This mic can compete with some minor eq play. I'll grab a second one for backup.
Great mic for a great price
I ordered this mic based on reviews, price, and appearance. It not only looks great, but it sounds very good- warm and clear. I needed to replace an Audix OM2 that severed a ground wire when the bottom connector pulled out with the cable, and I honestly cannot tell the difference between this mic and my beloved Audix. I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this brand, after a year I'll be able to discern if I'll continue with them.
sE Electronics V7 Mic
I searched a long time for a good dynamic handheld mic. I had been eying this microphone for awhile then finally pulled the trigger on the buy. I'm amazed at the sound of this mic. The clarity is crisp and clean. I would highly recommend this microphone! It looks good too!
SM58 Killer
Picked up the V7 to replace an SM58 that I'd been using for years. My band recently switched to ampless, silent stage, everyone on ears, and the 58 just wasn't sitting in the mix right for me.
The V7 exceeded all expectations. I'm not a lead singer, a few backup vocals here and there, so I'm not looking for the most amazing thing ever, just something serviceable. This mic sounds like it costs more than twice what you pay. No low mid muddiness, nice articulate upper mids. Not harsh at all. This all w/o EQ as all of our monitor sends to our ears are pre-eq.
You can't go wrong with this mic!
