No peaks and valleys
I mainly use this for an open mic I run. I've been using Beta 58's forever and we know how boomy they can be. I would need to constantly cut lows out of close singers with the 58 but no more! This mic is clear up close which is excellent. Also, some people's voices peak in the mid range and get very harsh and piercing, but this mic doesn't give into the harshness. I'm digging it! It's great all around. All my open micer's love it and are asking about it. I'm using virtually no EQ too. Thank you!
Tremendous Mic
The SE electronics V7 chrome Mic not only sounds better than every Mic in its class it looks better. We own a studio and have many different sets of Mics to use when The Dilemma Band plays live and we have made the decision after comparing the all of them that these are the Mics we will be using. We compared them to are Telefunkin M80s , Senheiser 935s , Shure SM58s as well as our Beta 58s and they really scored the highest.

Crystal Clear
The V7 is a wonderful microphone and was exactly as I expected. Sound is crisp, mic looks sleek (chrome w/ red windscreen), and handling sounds are minimal. The only negative is that there's no on/off switch, however, the mic is good about cutting out sound that's not within the pick-up radius.
