I purchased 2 of these stands for my Ukulele's I love the compactness they fold up real small and light weight and both fit into my gig bag very easily. my concert Uke fits nicely and sits securely in it , however my set up is on a rug and my tenor uke which has a strap and a hard wire cable sticking out the bottom requires some extra finesse to get it to sit properly in the stand and found it can tip backwards easily if bumped. I may need to purchase a heavier stand for that application. The funny thing is I already own a Stagg stand made of heavy gauge metal and worked great but I accidently stepped on one of the brackets and bent it so bad it is now useless. Bottom line these stands are well built and pretty sturdy for the most part and their portability is great. Also the price point is excellent.

I thought this was a great idea for a portable stand but it is too lightweight. Although advertised to be for the mandolin also, I would absolutely not use for an F style as they are typically top heavy. Mine fell over backwards the first time I used the stand. Unfortunately, it was one of my first returns (the other being the companion GS6500 guitar stand with similar problems).

Stand works great for my tenor ukulele. I use it only occasionally. The stand doesn't rock, and overall seems reasonably sturdy. It's a little hard to get it unfolded sometimes, but that will likely get better with use. Glad I bought it.
