The USA Select San Dimas Series 1 HSS FR solidbody electric guitar boasts many of the features that made the original '80s Charvels some of the most sought-after instruments of their era. The guitar's neck is crafted from quartersawn maple and features a compound-radius fretboard for chording and soloing comfort. The USA Select San Dimas Series 1's HSS DiMarzio pickup set consists of a high-output Super Distortion humbucker and two HS-2 single-coils. And you'll have all of the dive-bombing control you crave via the Floyd Rose Original tremolo.

Insanely Good
This was ordered through Sweetwater and Ben Porter was the Sales Engineer. Ben and Joe, from Tech Support, put up with a lot during this purchase. Thanks a lot! Thought I had a couple of good guitars already. But nothing compared to this one. It's the feel of the neck and playability that sets this apart. It's so easy and fun to play this guitar. More things come out sounding correct and good. Sequences are played faster. It's a simple guitar. Not even a tone knob. But man, what you do get is quality that's a step above. The 5-way pickup selector provides for large variances in each position. When the amp is cranked up and only the bridge pickup is used it sounds just the way you want it when trying some Van Halen or Motley Crue. Although the guitar is perfect, a few people including me have some electrical disturbance issue in their house. You can search on YouTube for what I'm talking about. I took the guitar to a Fender authorized shop to get it checked out and nothing was wrong with it. I took it too another house I own and it sounded perfect as well. It's just in my primary residence there's some static that none of my other guitars experience. It seems like only a few people have this issue. Anyway, the guitar is so good it's a keeper and the one that is grabbed for most often. This guitar is great.
