Good little mixer but inputs and outputs are low

By DB from Ellabell, GA

The mixer is easy to set up. No driver needed. The problem I had is the aux inputs are weak as well as the headphone output, which I really need. I can hookup a headphone amp which works, but is a pain. The aux inputs I used for my keyboard are low, even with the knob cranked up and the pad. This mixer is similar to Yamaha AG06MK2, without the software or proprietary driver which is a pain in windows. If it weren't for the problems listed I would really like it.

A little dissapointed

By Brian

As an interface even though there is multiple inputs 1 an 2 come in on one track there is no separation for two track recording. Stand alone under live scenarios will do just fine

Great little mixer

By Dave S. from Cincinnati

I do a solo gig, and this is the perfect mixer for my guitar, keyboard, vocal mic. Will helped me get the right device and make the perfect choice. This is a solid device and very portable. Love it.

Does what it’s supposed to do

By Derick from Guam
Music Background: Military musician

I use this in a few different ways. I use it as my main sound for my work computer. The headphone output is great. It's powered by usb so there's no need to plug it into the wall. My second use is jamming with a few synths, drum machines and my bass. The EQ isn't that deep so I'm not going to complain about that given it's price point. It takes pedals well to, if you want to jam with your favorite pedals it can handle the sound. This mixer is USB compliant. I've only used it with my android tablet though. The sound does carry over well.

Gets the job done!

By Ryan G. from Buffalo, NY

I run a video game YouTube channel and picked up the USBMix4 so I could have a dedicated USB interface. I love it. It does everything I need it to with no problems and good, clean sound. I'm such a fan that I'm buying a second one for my mobile recording rig.

Job Done

By Phil from Glens Falls, NY

We needed someway to prevent the organ music from overpowering the Pastor when he preached. The ART usbmix 4 did the job. We now can control the volume of the music in our production and streaming of our Sunday Service. Thank you Sweetwater.

Solid Little Mixer

By Thomas B. from ANN ARBOR, MI

My old Behringer mixer finally gave out. I was using an external DAC to connect it to my computer, so I thought it might be nice to get a mixer with a built in USB audio interface. I don't know the ART brand and there were no reviews, but Sweetwater always takes good care of me, so I went for it.

It took some tweaking of the knobs, but I eventually got it working with my laptop for video conferencing. I have an Shure SM-57 mic and I occasionally hook an input channel up to my phone so that I can pipe music into the video conference.

I'm quite happy with the unit overall. Construction seems solid. To make the levels adequate for video conferencing, I had to crank the channel and input gain almost all the way. On other mixers, this would create a lot of noise, but this one remains surprisingly noise free. I would not call all of the controls intuitive. I plugged my 1/4" headphones into the jack labeled Phones and got nothing. Plugged them into the Stereo Out jack to the left and, POOF! It worked.

One final note: this thing has a power switch! Behringer tends to avoid these and I miss having one sometimes. However, because this unit is USB powered, if I shutdown the laptop, it powers down anyway.
