Bought as A Gift
I am a music teacher, and bought this as a gift for one of my students. It's a great sounding Uke and easy to play. My student loved the pink color. It came with a gig bag, tuner, and chord chart. It has one button for a strap which is handy. I was a little worried about tuning at first because the A String wouldn't tune up, but a little patience and a few days later of tuning daily, it tuned right up. This is a good choice for beginners that will not break the bank.
Great customer service
Bought this for a friend for Christmas and I am very happy with my purchase. Item arrived timely and packaged neatly. Cory at Sweetwater has the absolute best customer service. I will definitely continue buying from this company.
Fun and well made
I bought this for my daughter because she is interested in music and guitar but she is still very young. It arrived just as advertised and it shipped very quickly. She loves it. After a quick tune it sounds pretty good. I'd say for the price it's awesome and she loves it.
Ukes for Music School
These 5 ukulele are being used every week for our beginning young guitar students, but the moms like them as well. We are using the small nylon stringed instruments to help young beginners to coordinate their hands, simply getting the pluck strings in a timing is a challenge for them. I did expect these to have build in tuners, but I do realize that for the price these days, that may be a bit too much to expect. Since we do not use them for concert play, it is not a problem for us that they may not stay in tune very long. These are not toys, but serious learning instruments for our students, at First Chance Music School in Princeton WV, 24740, Founder Floyd Ricks
Cute but not a great instrument
My mom got this for my daughter's 4th birthday. I didn't really expect her to learn on it but have some fun playing with it - great price point for that. As a toy, it's cute and comfortable.
As an instrument, it's kind of worthless - spend more and get something nicer. $20 more makes a big difference) The tuning stability it terrible and the strings roll around on the saddle when you strum.
