Great addition

By Sweetwater Customer

It's working out extremely well. Comes in very handy for me since I set up my stage in several different ways depending on the stage.

Worth it!

By PDock from Ventura, Ca

Good quality. Ive got the smaller cart but it still fits perfectly. I cart my gear in then set this up for my mixer.

Useful- not sure if for everyone

This can be a nice addition to your On-Stage cart purchase. But think through your intended use before purchasing. I originally envisioned using it as a stand for a mixer (and things like capos, or a drink etc.) while I play a gig. Or to sit an electric guitar amp or side monitor speaker on. It's sturdy and well made and the tray is about as easy to secure on top of the cart as one could reasonably expect. But most musicians who buy the cart are going to want to open the cart, throw stuff on it and move equipment into a gig quickly. Then collapse the cart and throw it back into their vehicle after the gig. This tray becomes a bit awkward in that, when you put it on the cart, it gets more difficult to load the bottom of the cart from the side. If you wait till you are loaded up, then it's an extra machination to put on top at a time when you are usually in a hurry. After a gig you would struggle to load the bottom with the tray top on, then have to disassemble it all before you can collapse the cart to put in your car. If you have a protracted set up time (like a few hours as a sound engineer with a full system, multiple trips in and out) then it makes sense. You can sit a large mixer on this (very stable), or a medium mixer and light controller and make use of your cart during the show-and swing the free spinning-wheeled cart out to get to connections, then swing back into place. If you are the person in the band who does sound from on stage (as I generally was), or an AV person or DJ, it's a great thing-prefect height to mix from, offers storage underneath during gig). But for musicians in a hurry, it might end up being a bit of an albatross when trying to get in and out of a club fast.
