Affordable Combiner!
If you are using no more than 2 wireless units, this antenna combiner works great!
Must HAVE
If you are running two wireless in the same group, you need this product. Don't be a cheapskate. This product will help prevent dropouts.
Good economical solution
My application is for a pair of Sennheiser ew 135 wireless mics, housed in a 3 unit rack.
The Shure UA221 is a good solid unit, actually a pair. The hookups are as easy as possible with BNC connectors. BNC connectors are always a bit bulky, but it is what is used in radio applications. The kit does come with a pair of male to male BNC connectors, so that's a plus.
If you're not used to making your own custom BNC cables, using the standard cables can make for a messy setup. I happen to be one of those who makes my own custom cables. I also had to get right angle BNC connectors to make a neat setup, which I got economically at a local electronics store.
The Shure unit is good and costs much less than the Sennheiser unit. I am only using 2 wireless, so this is more ideal for me than the Sennheiser unit which handles 4 units.
