This is a fairly well designed rack shelf with plenty of features that will help to secure a non-rack-mounted device in your rack system. That said, the fact that they skimped out on providing 2-4 rack screws means that you won't be able to mount/use the darn thing unless you provide your own. This is completely obnoxious. For the price of this item there is no excuse for Middle Atlantic to cheap out on such a simple thing. Obviously, I can get more of these screws. But I've bought quite a few rack devices over the years (including other shelves, most which were more affordable than this one) and they all had the decency to provide some simple mounting screws. Now I won't be able to use this product until I make a special trip (or order) for some silly mounting screws. This is absolutely ridiculous.
