They're great when they're straight
As a turntablist, I've got a huge graveyard of these things... nothing is more frustrating than buying a new one and it's slightly warped from the factory. I smash them in with my other records and hope in a year or two they'll straighten out.
I dread going to big box stringed instrument store but I'd endure the botched covers of Spirit's Stairway to.. uh.. eh, no one remembers what the original was named anyway.. what was I saying? Oh yeah, I'll go there so I see them hands-on and make sure I don't end up with a warped one... but that's not an option anymore! No one carries them in-store around me
The position stickers are friggin' awesome, I wish I could buy sheets of those to mark all of my other records instead of hacking up sticky notes
Other than that, no real complaints. The Serato vinyl has a less annoying tone but the only time I ever hear either is if I forget to turn off the turntable after playing, so I guess it's a feature and not a bug
Also wish Traktor would release more colors, like that dope swirly purple one Serato has
Traktor Scratch Control Vinyl
they're vinyl for controlling Traktor. Work really well...only gripe is they're still on MK2,think it's time to evolve to MK3 to coincide with Traktor Scratch Pro 3 release. honestly the lack of DVS support(i.e more choices in equipment and accessories)from Native Instruments is wary.but they still one,if not the best, choices for DJing..I've done the limited colorways and always come back to the original black, they just feel more like "true" vinyl.
Vinyl Control
The MK2 is the best control vinyl Traktor has out now. I've used most of their vinyl and this is the best so far.
