Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS Electric Guitar - Atomic Green Reviews
Guitar virtuoso Nick Johnston's personal preferences directed the design of the Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS, optimizing it for fast, technical playability. Equipped with a rock-solid roasted maple neck with Thin "C" neck profile, a 14-inch-radius ebony fretboard, and extra-jumbo frets, it's immediately apparent that this is an instrument built for precision. And while its playability is sure to appeal to rock and metal players, its HSS pickup configuration with two Nick Johnston single-coil pickups yields a universe of tonal textures to explore. Complete with a vintage-style tremolo for expressive bends and dives, and a Graph Tech XL Black TUSQ nut to make sure the tremolo action is as smooth as can be, you'll be amazed at the Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS guitar's ability to respond to any creative impulse you may have.

My first Schecter and what I've read about their quality is true!
I've had Suhrs, Shijie, Ibanez AZ HSS (prestige and Premium) in the past, all great guitars. Sold them cos at the moment was looking more for other kind of guitars, but some of them would be really happy to get back. I've seen about the Schecter Nick Johnston, but wasnt sure with the flat radius and thinner neck. But recently I got an Ibanez RG with Wizard III (Im a more chunky traditional neck player), but wow I did like that Ibanez. So it started this superstart phase for me, and wanted something not as extreme as the Ibanez, but closer to the Ibanez than to a more traditional guitar.
This was available out there and really ticked all the boxes! And wow, what a nice guitar. Everything about it feels good quality, including the toggle siwtch and knobs, which normally is the aspect you inemdiately feel is cheap in Indo guitar normally under 1k. The QC is fantastic as well, and plays awesome. Loved the neck, actually thought it was going to feel thinner, but feels great. Like the 14 radius as well, and looks gorgeous in green. The humbucker sounds great, better than expected! Handles classic rock to high gain both very well. The single coils are good but the humbucker I like it more, which is great cos I use it much more. The only thing I will probably do, just to give it that extra thing, is to roll the edges of the fretboard. Cos is something I like. I mean there is nothing wrong as it it, is not that I dislike it, is just that when its rolled it makes it even nicer, just that. Like that extra spice on your meal to make it from great and very tasty to just perfect!
