I really like the way this case cradles my Telecaster. It fits perfectly with no movement.
If you want a case that will hold cables, straps, and other gear, this may not be for you since the center storage space is small.
I wanted something that wouldn't take up as much space as the oblong luggage case and this case fits the bill for me.

Love this guitar case

Case looks larger in photos than in reality. Yet it fits my player II series tele perfectly. Case is lightweight and slim, which is just what I was looking for. Definitely not as sturdy or likely as protective as the rectangular wood cases, but great for in-home storage and fits way better on an upright case rack.

Definitely recommend getting it from Sweetwater, as it shipped super quick with zero damage.

This case is a great is a great fit for my new 50s Vibe Telecaster.

I ordered this case along with my squier classic vibe tele (love that guitar). Case fit great, I love the vintage tweed cover and the inside reminds me of grandma's couch back in the day! The lock broke the first day (with the guitar inside lol) but you can just unscrew it from the outside so honestly not much a lock anyway since I had to break into it myself. But if the lock is not an issue for you, great hard case for the money!

Stylish, but very, very cheaply constructed. Basically cardboard covered with tweed. Add some really flimsy latches and you've got a $ case. Not recommended.

I was shocked when I opened the box, first thoughts were my Tele will never fit in this case. I couldn't have been more wrong. It fits in the case like a gloves on your hand. I have 2 more Telecasters and I'm buying this case for both of them. Take my advice, give Kyle a call 1-800-222-4700 ext 1247 and get one of these for your Telecaster if you care about your guitar. Price is very reasonable for a case of this quality.

Plenty of plush to comfort your guitar, but not real heavy duty case in the event of disaster

Great looking case with old school vibes. Fits my PRS Miles Kennedy guitar perfectly. Good case for light traveling. Wouldn't hold up as airplane baggage, but perfect for my needs.

First let me say what this case is not. It's not an Anvil flight case to use for a a touring pro. It's is perfect for a player like me, weekend and recreational player who a wants a secure , cool looking case that won't break your back to carry. Fits my Tele like a glove. Snap one up now!!!

If you like that vintage tweed vibe, this case has it. Super lightweight and small, this case is great for everyday running around. I wouldn't put it on a plane though, get a flight case for that. Make sure to measure your tele first and compare with the specs. For comparison, I use it if for my Warmoth body / neck tele(non-vintage) build. If fits perfectly in this case.

Get your measuring tape out. I bought this for my 1990 reissue 52 Telecaster Japan. BUT my 1996 Mexican telly will not fit at all. So I tried my G-bender G&L Telecaster, and it had an inch plus over length on the neck. I believe this case is true to the vintage era, (blackguard) but Fender does not communicate that to you very well.

The case is to small to fit a telecaster without forcing it in.

I am perplexed at all of the reviews for this case. A telecaster won't even fit in the case! The case is not wide enough at the bottom and the case is too short for the guitar to fit into it. Possibly the quality control at the Fender guitar case factory is poor.

Very poor quality case, Nashville Telecaster will not fit, contrary to others' posts. The shipping container box is better than the actual case. Very much like cardboard with upholstery. This would be good for a $49 guitar.

I have a Fender Nashville Telecaster and it fits like a glove.

i think these are great. Its light, and it looks great and they aren't too big. Cases in the 50's and 60's were usually "right sized" ..The molded metal or plastic luggage "flight case" things became popular the 70's..I always thought they were too heavy and ugly. My guitars ride with me anyway so i'm not worried about losing it at the airport

Latches, looks and craftsmanship is great. My Tele looks great in it and protected, but it's expensive.

Finally Fender makes a solid case that isn't huge for your Tele. I'm impressed, it's solid, light weight and well made and fits a Tele perfectly. Hey Fender can you make one of these now for the Strat. (your Strat won't fit in it)

Fits a Telecaster like a glove. A couple string sets will sit under the headstock, but there's little room for a padded strap. Small outside, tight inside, retro classic.

Case fits my telecaster well. More protection than a bag. Different telecaster's such as the thin lines my not balance the case out and the case will be neck heavy. Just a F.Y.I. there. It's a cheaply made in china case but it's nice looking and should do the trick. A bit pricey but your paying for the coolness.

very light and thin, allmost feels cheep but hopefully it will be a strong case, great vintage look and extremely tight fit on my 1972 fender tele, only time will tell, but i love the look

So, I have 5 telecasters but I bought this one for a custom white blonde, and it wouldn't fit in the case at all. My 1993 52 avri barely fit into this case either. Overall the case looks nice but it's a really tight fit don't buy if you are putting all your hopes the guitar will fit it's definitely a toss up.

First off, my original order went astray and FedEx re-directed it back to Sweetwater. David Yanes jumped into action and had a new case immediately shipped so I didn't have to wait for the original order to be returned. Great customer service as always from Sweetwater!

This case is top notch! It appears small in size and when I first opened the box I was thinking, how is my Tele going to fit in there? But to my surprise, it fits like a glove! It's plush on the inside and built like a tank. Fender designed this thermometer case to protect your guitar! The tweed covering is icing on the cake.

If you don't have a Tele..... get one. Then buy this case!

It a perfect fit fir my Fender Telecaster. Looks great too.
For sure this will be my go to case for gigs when I play my Telecaster. While carrying the guitar in the case the top end where the neck fits is slanted down as if the guitar was neck heavy. It's not a big deal to meat all just thought I'd mention it. The small size, fit and looks makes it a 5 star in my book!

If you are looking for a lightweight, sturdy case from Fender that's not bulky and has the Fender old school 'vibe', this is the one for you. With the cloth
covering it will get marked up over time, but that's part of it's classic design and ultimate 'patina'. There is not a lot of storage room inside, but I like it over the rectangular larger Fender tweed cases.

Fits tele perfectly, well constructed. I was a little concerned about the latches initially but they are sturdy. Loving that the case doesn't add pounds of weight overall.

I have a Thinline Tele that's been in need of a case for 25 years. It had been stored in a gig bag since I bought it in the mid-1990s. I liked the style of this case, the shape, etc. It fits my Thinline snuggly, which is good. The guitar seems secure and protected. It has lots of interior padding, so that's good. The handle seems sturdy, and looks/feels like leather. The case will be more than sufficient to store the guitar at home and transport it to a friend's place to jam. No gigging or touring for me, though the case seems like it would provide average protection for the guitar if I was hitting the road with it.

The interior seems more brown than gold, but my Tele is brown, so that's a nice match. The interior storage area is small; too small for even a strap or cable, so in that regard it seems sort of silly. It will hold maybe an extra set of string or a clothe to wipe down your guitar. The latches seem a bit flimsy. They're small and seem delicate; frankly I'd be afraid they'd break if the guitar was being put in van every night on a club tour.
