Fender Custom Shop Jimmy Page Signature Telecaster - White Blonde Reviews
On Jan 31, 1969, Led Zeppelin played New York’s Fillmore East for the first time. Their debut album had just been released and the Big Apple was abuzz with the promise of this hot new British group. But they were as yet untested before an American audience, so Fillmore impresario Bill Graham booked them as the opening act for Iron Butterfly. Their first set that evening killed, tearing up the house so thoroughly that Iron Butterfly refused to go on after them again. So Led Zeppelin headlined the 11:30 show — never again to be an opening act. Jimmy Page played his Tele that night — the one he famously used on the first album, and quite frequently thereafter — sending shockwaves into the audience with every strike of his pick and violin bow. Now Sweetwater is thrilled to present to you the Fender Custom Shop Jimmy Page Signature Telecaster, a meticulous re-creation of this legendary instrument in all its glory.

Best Tele I own
Own 5 vintage TC's and I like my JP the best of them all. I like it so much I ended up back tracking and getting a custom shop too.
Funny the custom shop feels better, but i think i like the non custom shop better. With that, I wouldn't get rid of either as they both have their thing.
If you want to just own one tele, trust me you can park it here if you get a good one.
To the Fender crew> You got this right on so many levels but it would be cool if you offered a custom shop dragon boys…….

GREAT IF YOU LIKE RELICS
Let me start by saying I have several Fenders some that are Custom Shop. This one is nice. It has a really good sound. But this one is a Journeyman Relic which I didn't realize when I purchased it. It has several dings and 2 scratches. Luckily they are on the back. So if you are like me and aren't thrilled with "relics" then this one is not for you. I know many people like relics but paying... for a guitar with dings is not my idea of a dream guitar. Sweetwater is great and they did offer to exchange it for another JP Tele when one came in but I was worried the next one might be even more of a relic. Since it plays really nice I decided to keep it. Next time I will enlarge the pictures and take a close look before purchasing.
