Impeccable quality and playability!
This is perhaps one of the coolest and most versatile guitars I've ever had. It's one of those that when you play it, you just know…it feels right and it's easy to become one with it. I have to say it is really an incredible instrument. I was kind of on the fence when I was looking at it and I just couldn't get away from it so I pulled the trigger and I'm so glad that I did! I am very happy with this purchase. I've had it a little over a month now definitely a five star and two thumbs up. Brian Rutan is a Sales Rock Star! He always ensures customer satisfaction from start to finish- And I must say… he's got to be the most patient Sweetwater rep as I am very picky and can take forever to land the plane on selections. Amazing, Versatile, Aggressive, and Smooth
I come from humbucker land: Gibson Les Paul & SG, HSS Strat. However, this guitar rests in a league above them. It plays wonderfully with the stainless-steel frets, and the neck shape is incredibly smooth without feeling too tapered as it might in an Ibanez or Jackson for some. I bought this guitar for one reason: to throw any musical style at it, and it excels at them all. The cleans are beautiful and distinct, and the single-coil tapping feature in the humbuckers creates even more of a spectrum of sound and tonal range. Dial up the gain on the humbuckers and you'll reach searing lead tones and deep rhythms anywhere between a Les Paul and Strat. Furthermore, for anyone skeptical of the overall set up or Floyd rose tremolo, it's all incredibly stable and will provide the foundation for any musical style, including metal. Please play metal on this guitar; you will see how well it performs. Oh, and like I said, it will play absolutely any other musical style as well. This guitar, to me, is one of the best-value offerings out there, priced at or below other market offerings in the same range, such as PRS, Ibanez Custom, ESP Custom, Gibson, etc. It has a slightly darker sound than the typical tele, but can still navigate that tonal territory as well. Pick one up while you can! Because we don't know how long Fender will even offer this model. Oh, and the Mystic Black finish looks even better in person. When I first got it I felt disappointed, and a week later, I couldn't put it down. Amazing guitar!
Absolute legend
Just a phenomenal performance piece. I was blown away for weeks before I figured out the tone knob button. It splits the buckers and goes from tele to strat sound instantly.

This guitar has fangs. There's not enough time to describe all the attributes this guitar has to offer. I've been a strat player for 30+ years and I can't put it down.
