Onkyo TX-NR6100 100- watt 7.2-channel Receiver
This is a lot of receiver if your only wanting a stereo unit. I'm somewhat disappointed with the treble and bass response from the receiver but, there could be more reasons for this besides just the receiver. I am still putting this system together so a lot will change over time. Sorry that I don't have more at this time.
Quality
I purchased my 6100 about four months ago and I am in love with it. I also bought a 777 series that a real work horse fire my cabin. I feel that Onkyo really went above many other brands with these two units. Yes there are more expensive units out there but they put some pride behind their product in competing with an open ended market. I owned a Yamaha unit that gave me true fits, that said I will never buy Yamaha again. The true sounds that is produced from the 6100 is pure sounding and rich. I run Bose and klipsch with it and a 500 watt self powered klipsch subwoofer. It too loves the unit for the sound that it produces is superb.
