Alto Professional TX410 350-watt 10-inch Powered Speaker

Alto Professional TX410 350-watt 10-inch Powered Speaker Reviews
Are you searching for clear, robust sound that punches far above its price point? Of course, you are — and thanks to its burly 350-watt Class D amplifier, the Alto Professional TX410 is definitely up to the task. For starters, this 10-inch powered loudspeaker boasts a 90- x 60-degree wide-dispersion horn, capable of filling any small- to mid-sized venue with pristine, powerful sound. Moreover, the TX410’s DSP-enhanced design provides a bevy of pro-level features, including a 2-channel mixer with a Mix output for linking multiple speakers, stereo Bluetooth streaming, and a Contour EQ for high-quality music playback. Here at Sweetwater, we’re impressed with the generous I/O on the TX410, which includes an XLR combo line input and a balanced XLR line output. The TX410 is truly roadworthy, boasting a rugged full-metal grille, a top carry handle for easy transport, and standard speaker pole socket and monitor angle configurations. When you need an easy-to-deploy PA speaker that’s built to last, the Alto Professional TX410 stands ready to deliver the goods.
Great budget speakers for modest sound in small venues.
Our church recently bought these for our small venue (30-40 people). We aren't putting on a concert, just looking to help the sound reach the back/sides of the room (which is wide and mostly concrete). Some say this isn't a "real" speaker, but we're really pleased with them so far.
One thing I didn't expect is that (unlike what I've heard of the TS410) the Bluetooth signal on a speaker DOES get sent to the output mix. This means I can pair my phone with the left speaker and daisy-chain its output to the right speaker. This works well because our mixer doesn't have Bluetooth built in, and we don't treat L/R any differently. I haven't tried pairing the speakers together, but of course that's an option too.
Fantastic monitor
Great speaker for the money if you know what you're doing. I bought it for use as a stage monitor for my eleven rack, but after a little testing I would absolutely use this as a general stage monitor, or even pair it with a second and a sub for smaller dj gigs.
Don't buy these with the unrealistic expectation that they will compete with $ speakers. Buy these with the expectation that they will do the job well and very cheaply with just a little bit of love (EQ)
INTERESTING SPEAKER
Thought I would give these a try for smaller gigs, but as the saying goes, if you buy cheap you get cheap. If you are expecting to hear a clean sound out of this speaker, it is not going to happen. Lots of intermodulation distortion from the horn even at low volumes. If you want your sound to be the best live, it's RCF or Electro voice ZX series speakers, not the ZLX SERIES, they have cheaper components. The ZX SERIES uses the DH2 and DH3 compression drivers and a better crossover. I am disappointed because I own an ALTO 12'' POWERED SUB. It is fantastic. Alto should just make subs, because their full range powered speakers sound like a 1970 peavey 12 and a piezo horn.
