I recently replace my 10'', 12'', 16'', and 22'' bass drum heads with these '56s, and I really love the sound I'm getting. I'm playing a DW Collectors kit, and sometimes there's almost too much ring. Not with these heads.
Very warm and punchy, especially on the floor tom. I used to have to leave it almost completely loose, but with these I can tune it up a lot more without getting that annoying overtone ring or having it sound anemic.
They sound good through the mics, too. It's like a new drum set!
