I've had mine for almost 20 years and I enjoy it when I play or practice. My only true desire would be a round seat rather than the tractor seat. When it's dark or after you need to get up to adjust something, the tractor seat rotates and when sit back down. Missing the seat properly can cause issues. I'm looking for a replacement seat that fits the FANTASTIC frame.

I bought this as a guitar stool, thinking that it would match the two drum thrones I have and it is great. The same fantastic quality, shipped quickly, and the same great quality I expect from roc-n-soc.

Love the height of this stool. Love the big comfortable seat. I use it at home for practice and for 3-4 hour gigs.

I'm a really big guy (6'3", 300 lbs) and finding a chair that is not only sturdy enough to hold my weight without buckling but ALSO manages to be cushioned enough for long-term comfort is a rare thing. This stool is just such a rarity! I can sit on this thing for hours without getting a sore tailbone or feeling "butt fatigue" and the legs are absolutely rock solid when I shift around or rotate.

Highly recommended for any and all applications, though my much shorter wife finds it a bit too tall for her comfort. Thankfully, it does come in a shorter model with the same incredible saddle seat.

Just had a friend ask me which stools I use and I wholeheartedly recommended Rock-N-Soc. I do 200+ acoustic duo gigs a year and I used to go thru a pair of stools a year. I've had these now for 6 years, > 1,200 gigs! Buy these!

This is perfect for practice and I also use it while using my lift desk for work .

In my case, hard work seems to be the only substitute for talent I have figured out. That translates into practice time, a *lot* of it... like hours per day After years of this, I realized that sitting on a folding chair was not doing me any favors and decided to look for something that was a comfortable height for holding a guitar.

Also, I like to surround myself with a couple of music stands w/ various charts plus a table to hold books, notepads, etc., as well as have easy access to backing tracks on my computer. Until I purchased this stool, I had not realized how nice it would be to have something that would swivel.

So while this isn't the most glamorous piece of gear I've ever purchased, I have to admit that it sure is getting a ton of use.

Got the 29" stool. Very comfortable and the seat swivels too. Takes a load off my back. Very satisfied with the purchase experience.

I actually have 3 of these stools. I have the 26" and the Nitro Hydraulic one as well. I really like all of them and I got the 29" because of my long legs. It actually gives a few different positions to get in than the others.I have a Peg It on the nitro and that helps, its fold able for transport but it really only gives you one position with the Peg It. The 26" is really nice for home and venues with a stage, but the 29" is my favorite all around for a guitar player that I am. Works really great for venues with no stage (most places) so you are above or equal to most of the crowd and you can easily sit for 3hr show without hurting your rear end on a hard bar stool. I don't need a back to it as I never recline anyway. As always Sweetwater is my go to place.

For doing my 3 hour gigs weekly at a local pub this seat has made it a lot easier. The seat itself is not just comfortable it is way comfortable and a lot bigger than it looks in the picture. A heavy set man would be happy with this stool. It swivels which is nice for getting up and down from behind a mic and stand. Built well it is also fairly lightweight. Showed it to my band mate and he was very impressed with the quality as well. I am 5'8" and 200 lbs. so I purchased the shorter model and sitting on the stool putting my feet on the bottom rung is just right and comfy. I do use a separate foot stool when playing my acoustic guitar without a strap. It was possible to use the top rung to get my leg into position to hold the guitar but I foud it ucomfortable to stay in that position for any amount of time so opted for a separate foot stool to get just the right height for my leg to hold the guitar I the right position. For its quality build, good looks, weight and comfort I give this stool a 5 star rating.

This stool came in one piece which was great since it was a gift! The stool is the perfect size for my husband who is 6' 4'. Overall Great Stool, very comfortable with a saddle seat that swivels.
