Handcrafted in Nashville, the Treeworks TRE415 Chime is the perfect classic chime model for use in educational environments and comes finished with custom heat-tempered aluminum/titanium alloy bars and a braided cord handle easily used by even the littlest students. Its hand-finished mantle is made with premium kiln-dried Tennessee white ash, and each bar is hand tied onto the mantle using TreeWorks' braided CordLoc cording. Using only custom-milled metal alloys, the TRE415's bars have been polished to a brilliant finish and tuned by ear to deliver an ethereal tone. Pro use of a “Student” product.
I wanted to try the sound of a set of chimes and found this on Sweetwater listed as a 'student' set. A full set can run into the couple hundred dollars so I thought I would give it a try. I will probably someday get a full set, but for now these are more than adequate. The sound is pure, it glistens as I run my finger over them and I think will add just the right sound to the song that I want to use them on. I continue to be impressed with the products available and the service from Sweetwater. These chimes are just what I needed
