2.23" Square Pedal Mounting Plate with Adhesive and Thumb Screw

Temple Audio’s Quick Release mounting system makes short work of configuring pedals on your pedalboard. This 2.23" pedal mount, compatible with all Templeboard pedalboards, accommodates standard BOSS-sized pedals and can be used in multiples to mount larger pedals (volume, wah). An included adhesive backing holds the mount securely to the pedal, while an included thumb screw locks your pedal in place from underneath the board. Temple’s Quick Release system is dramatically more secure than standard hook-and-loop strips and aims to be neater, cleaner, and longer-lasting. For ease of use and peace of mind, deck out all your pedals with Temple Audio Quick Release pedal mounts from Sweetwater.

Great mounting option.

By Steven M. from West Newton, PA
Music Background: 15 years guitarist-6 years live artist.

I've been using Temple Audio pedal mounts for years and they're absolutely rock solid. Unlike Velcro, which had pedals falling off my board, these mounts hold everything in place — I've had pedals secured for years without a single one coming loose.

When it's time to move things around, they make rearranging quick and easy. If you ever want to remove the plate from the pedal, the adhesive can leave a significant residue on the back of the pedal, but with some Goo Gone and a bit of elbow grease it comes right off.

Honestly, I love these mounts way more than I ever liked using Velcro. They're dependable, clean, and make my board setup a breeze.

Hate them

Horrible design. Adhesive either doesn't stick at all or sticks so much it WILL damage your pedals. Stick to Velcro instead of these overpriced things. I threw all ten of these things in the trash.

Worthless adhesive

By Peter K. from Marana, AZ

I don't understand those who think these plates stick well, they certainly did not for me! Tried them on several pedals and they consistently let go. I'm better off with the tried and true 3M Dual Lock products. At least they don't let go of your pedal or board!

Rethink Your Adhesion

By Sweetwater Customer

With how expensive these bad boys are, you think they'd actually stay sticky. I've had my pedals on for less than 24 hours and they've both come undone from the pad. My plan is to peel the adhesive off and replace it with Velcro but for this price that's kinda stupid. The design is smart and the rest of the board is sick but these suck.

Pros and Cons

By Sweetwater Customer

The plates adheres well to pedals and fits tightly on the board. I have a 28x16 board with 8 pedals, a QC, some AIRSTEPs, two full sized expression pedals and a 4 way module. Just migrated from a pedal train set up.

The adhesive is about impossible to remove. So it needs to either stay on the pedal or figure out a way to get it off cleanly. I bought ten. Now I have 2 that I have to scrub and dissolve the jacked up foam and adhesive off of to repurpose them with some dual lock.

Then one had the screw break off inside of the plate when I was moving them around. Lasted maybe 2 weeks. I was moving them around to see what configuration worked best but idk.

So, the temple boards look nice. The modules are a great idea and the plates will have everything locked down for sure. But…that is knowing that they are a PIA to remove from the pedals and can break.

Great concept...but an obvious oversight in design

By Jeff from IL
Music Background: Guitar player/Church worship band

Great concept...however...a significant oversight in the design. Using any pedal with rubber feet requires their removal since the nubs on these plates that lock into the holes on the pedalboard aren't long enough to compensate for the thickness of the rubber feet. If you remove the rubber feet, most machined screws will not sit flush on the back of the pedal because the holes in the pedal were not machined deep enough for the screw to go all the way into the body without the rubber feet attached. All they had to do was make the nubs and the pedal plate screws long enough to compensate for this. Very disappointed they didn't factor this in to their design. I am using 2 Mission expression/volume pedals and I had to design a way to attach without using velcro which I didn't want to use. That's why I purchased the Temple pedalboard in the first place. Perhaps all regular effects pedals don't have this problem but most pedalboard users I know have a lot more on their boards than basic pedals including me.

Temple Audio Plates

Good adhesive, and fit to the board. Temple Audio is a great neat system.

Do not buy

By Jay S. from Asheville, NC

Not only do they completely deface the back of your pedal investment, they are very difficult to remove and make placement on your board very challenging. I love the temple board and just covered it with Velcro. Much more efficient.

Awesome mounting system - need spare thumbscrews

By Paul from Waukesha, WI

As someone that likes to change the lineup on my board and keep a clean profile, the Temple Audio pedalboard system is the best I've used. The only downfall is the thumbscrew. It has such a short travel that unless you tighten them regularly, they can drop out and get easily lost. Unfortunately, the only way to get new screws is to order more plates. I would gladly purchase a bag of extra screws to keep in my gear bag if TA would offer it.

Didn’t stuck like it supposed too

By Agustin S. from Houston, TX
Music Background: Guitar

Did not work and stuck liek it supposed too, cleaned the pedal and prepped it like I usually do with all my pedals before I add the plate but this time it did not hold at all. Maybe a defective plate, unfortunately I have to spend extra bucks to order it again….

Don’t stick liek it supposed too

By Agustin from Houston

Bought two of them and unfortunately one of them did not stuck to the pedal. It kept coming unglued, I always prep my pedals before adding the plate but I guess this one was not good. SMH

Good Customer Service

By Terence
Music Background: "I don't know, he spends a lot of money and knows a lot of things that I'm surprised anyone else cares about." - my wife

I've used these for a while now. I bought some new ones recently, and while installing, one of the threaded thumb screws sheared off in the plate. Long story short, I talked to customer service and they said that they don't get feedback about that happening often. Seems like a pretty foolproof product, and mine must have been a fluke. Customer service was prompt, friendly, and courteous, and sent a replacement quickly. Yes the product is well made and a great solution, but I came to write this review because of the service. Thanks guys!

These are brilliant

By Brad H.
Music Background: Live shows and recording sessions.

Temple audio has the best board designs I've ever come across. The mounting grid system is brilliant. These plates fit my horizon devices pedals, mxr, boss, and vintage ibanez pedals no problem. I put 2 of these on my morley wah. They secure perfectly to the board and have zero budge compared to the standard velcro systems.

This is the best Peddle Board System.

By David K. from Miramar Beach, FL

Temple Audio has the best system for peddle boards in my opinion.

I can mount the peddles with test plates them change them.

The peddle stay mounted even if I tun the board upside down.

I use two medium plate for each of the source audio peddles (C4, Chorus, Intelligent Filter etc)

It may be overkill to use two... its worth my piece of mind.
