Sent back the Yamaha for this one. And kept this one. Very responsive.
Extremely responsive to all types of taps where they use slam it or tap it it has different volumes. It is extremely responsive with inner beats. It can program things for wave files for in-ear monitors. The downside is you have to manually scroll and enter each sound, but the sound will play up to four sounds at one time. I will not get rid of this and I will not be replacing it. I had the Roland and the Yamaha and they were great but the sounds are played out even if you can upload on them. The Ludwig pad has thicker pads so it takes the shock out of your hand. 10/10
