This 5-piece set of Baltic Birch temple blocks produces a warm, natural sound (and finish) that our Sweetwater percussionists find incredibly satisfying. Their D minor 7th tuning makes them harmonically suitable for a wide range of musical situations, not just for “Sleigh Ride”! Additionally, their rear mount attaches easily to standard drum hardware and comes with two soft rubber mallets.
Poor quality product
A colleague has a set of Grover blocks and I was looking to buy a set like his. I saw the low price for the Meinl, which looked similar and was attractive. It was a mistake. When we compared the difference in quality and sound is huge. Like the old adage says, "You get what you pay for".
