Egnater Tourmaster 212x 160-watt 2x12" Extension Cabinet Reviews

160-watt (RMS) 2 x 12" Matching Extension Cabinet for Egnater Tourmaster Guitar Amplifiers

The quest for tone can be a neverending journey, and speaker cabinets can be a big part of it. The Egnater Tourmaster 212x is specifically designed to accompany any Egnater head. This cab can be used either closed-back or, with the removal of a panel, semi-open-backed. Two Celestion Elite-80 speakers give this cab a huge tone that rivals many 4 x 12" cabs. For tonal flexibility while using Egnater heads, get the Egnater Tourmaster 212x.

Works Great with my Modded Blackstar 2x12

By William Littlefield from Spring Lake, NC on April 8, 2018 Music Background: Guitarist, Drat the Luck

Use mine in closed back mode paired with a Blackstar MkII 2x12 (with Warehouse Invader 50s). The combo of cutting mids and thumping bass makes my Blackstar HT50 MkII shine! The Egnater on it's own also sounds great with my Egnater Tweaker40. Solid suild .... but a bit on the heavy side - that's why mine stays at the practice hall!

Egnater Tourmaster

By Michael from Kirk on July 12, 2016 Music Background: Guitarist/Vocalist

I've had this cab for about two years now and I've run a Marshall JMD 50w head, an EVH 50w, and a Laney 50w through it (not sure what model), and soon a Mesa Express+ each time it delivered awesome tones (I'll see about updating when I finally get the Mesa). I got it for a steal on clearance, but even at full price it's well worth the money. The celestions that come stock on it sound beautiful, the only trouble I've run in to with it is it's size. I downsized from a Bugera 4x12 to this and at first it was a huge relief to not lug that tank of a cab around, but in comparison to other 2x12 this thing is still a little on the hefty side, so if you don't mind getting a good arm workout while loading and unloading, this is your cab! Overall awesome cab, totally would recommend.

Little Big Cab

By Greg from United States on July 10, 2012 Music Background: Pro Musician, Guitar Tech, Sound Enginneer

I love these cabs. I bought them to be run by my Mesa Mark V. First off the option to be either open or closed back is a great feature. These cabs sound a lot bigger than they are, in fact, I had a Mesa 4x12 Traditional Cab and these cabs put out more (and tighter) low end. The caster system on these are heavy duty and very well designed. The Celestion Elite 80's sound really good and are a well rounded speaker (once they are broken in). I think they really look classy too.
One negative is that the tolex on these are real thin and will tear and mar easily, So be careful! I wish they came with a cover.
